I think you can safely use either my version or @Etamin's, both are fine. If you use @Etamin's do it with one minor correction. Strings #15715, #15717 and #15718 should also have distinctive female versions.

Just out of curiosity, how much of the original Unfinished Business has yet to be converted for compatibility with BGEE (other than being translated into other languages)? From what I've read about it, it seems to be a big mod.

Most of the components can be installed on BGEE. There may still be some bugs, of course.
There are a few components that won't install on BGEE, but most of those are due to the component being included in or superceded by vanilla BGEE (such as BG1UB's Additional Elminster Encounter). So, those will never be available for BGEE.
You should be okay to re-install the updated version.

One question - are you on Windows or Linux? OSX doesn't merge folders by default, it would overwrite the old version and destroy the backup information for re-installing. If you're on OSX, you need to uninstall, then update the mod, then re-install.

I'll go through the .tp2 and add #8 to all the script assignments, just to be safe.
As for Bently, his default is to have MAGE6 on his Race script. Since BG1NPC is replacing that with a copy of MAGE10B, maybe it should put that on his Race script. He doesn't need both MAGE10B and MAGE6.
Problems in OUBLEK.DLG Prism quest. Currently the dialogue can't detect if party has both "abgfEyeL" and "abgfEyeR" at the same time (that's a bug, I guess). You first need to drop one of the emeralds for OUBLEK response to show up. Then you need to return second emerald (another unique response). And after this BG1UB finishes the quest and deletes some journal entries, but completely misses vanilla ones: EraseJournalEntry(27348) EraseJournalEntry(27104) EraseJournalEntry(27367) EraseJournalEntry(27368) EraseJournalEntry(27369) EraseJournalEntry(27372) ~ SOLVED_JOURNAL #27346
I'm not even sure what's the point in separate responses for each emerald instead of alaways showing the vanilla message when party has both emeralds at the same time. It just creates problems like this without giving anything that would be worth it.

This version of the beta addressed compatibility between BGEE and the Prism component of BG1UB. There is a response of Oublek for having both emeralds.
nope, bg1ub-14.0_beta_150128 Even if "a" version fixed the 2 emeralds option at once, it will still need changes when emeralds are returned separately to remove above mentioned vanilla journal entries (unless this has been fixed too).
Your version is a month older than the latest version. You have the version from January 28 (150128). The latest is from February 28 (150228a) - note the different month number.
Yes, the journal entries are removed in BGEE in the latest version (at least I hope I got them all )
EDIT: This gives me an idea for a Feature Request. Since the quest journal entries are logged by quest in BGEE.SQL, it should be possible for the engine to remove all "open" quest journal entries when a "closed" journal entry is made. It would certainly make all journal management easier for mods (and developers ).
glad to hear that you are aware of vanilla journal problems. I won't report more bugs from BG1UB in this play through as I indeed installed outdated version. Agree with your request for Beamdog - great idea.

If I want to replace the previoius beta version with this one, will I need to start a new game afterwards?
There are a few components that won't install on BGEE, but most of those are due to the component being included in or superceded by vanilla BGEE (such as BG1UB's Additional Elminster Encounter). So, those will never be available for BGEE.
You should be okay to re-install the updated version.

you should add #8 otherwise changes to Class script made by BG1NPC Project + BG1UB will result in SHOUT10B.BCS
Also it may be good idea to merge shout into bently.bcs in case both mods are used at the same time

As for Bently, his default is to have MAGE6 on his Race script. Since BG1NPC is replacing that with a copy of MAGE10B, maybe it should put that on his Race script. He doesn't need both MAGE10B and MAGE6.

I'm not even sure what's the point in separate responses for each emerald instead of alaways showing the vanilla message when party has both emeralds at the same time. It just creates problems like this without giving anything that would be worth it.
This version of the beta addressed compatibility between BGEE and the Prism component of BG1UB. There is a response of Oublek for having both emeralds.
Even if "a" version fixed the 2 emeralds option at once, it will still need changes when emeralds are returned separately to remove above mentioned vanilla journal entries (unless this has been fixed too).
Yes, the journal entries are removed in BGEE in the latest version (at least I hope I got them all )
EDIT: This gives me an idea for a Feature Request. Since the quest journal entries are logged by quest in BGEE.SQL, it should be possible for the engine to remove all "open" quest journal entries when a "closed" journal entry is made. It would certainly make all journal management easier for mods (and developers ).
