Which class should a new NPC in the Adventure Y have?

As we know, the Adventure Y will give us at least one new NPC whose name starts with "Gl". Maybe there will be more. But it's interesting to get a look on forumites' views on which, from your point of view, class should a new NPC have. You can mention a kit in your comment here. There're only 10 options available for the poll, so I've decided to mention mages and sorcerers in one option (as well as fighters and barbarians in another).
So far, Beamdog gave us:
Rasaad (Male LG Human Sun Soul Monk)
Neera (Female CN Half-Elf Wild Mage)
Dorn (Male NE Half-Orc Blackguard)
Baeloth (Male CE Drow Sorcerer)
Hexxat (Female NE Vampire Thief)
Wilson (Bear TN Grizzly Bear)
So, GO FOR THE VOTES!

But not a dwarf
We have 2 gimped "bards" in BG1: I mean their songs nearly don't matter (only to take the Horror effect off) and people rather use them with ranged weapons/wands/spells.
We have 1 blade in BG2 but a blade actually offers a different playing mechanic than a singing bard.
So, it would be awesome to have a singing skald who shares different stories in her dialogues. Maybe our BeamBard wrote an NPC to reflect her bardic interests.
Anyway I would like to have another outer-planes-related npc, as I don't like Haer'Dalis very much so I would like something like a something-Neutral Gatecrasher (prestige class from the Manual of the Planes ed. 3.0) with a personal quest allowing CHARNAME and their party to travel other planes, like Bytopia or Mechanus or else. That would be cool.
Now the real question @bengoshi: Y U NO PUT A BEAR OPTION? TvT
A barbarian would provide something different, and a new background to a character we haven't really seen in Baldur's Gate yet. Someone like Hendak would be cool.
A nice tie-in to The Black Pits would be to make him a surivor of the gladiator pits... possibly pitting him against fan-favorite Baeloth in a Minsc-Edwin type relationship.
Though I'd also settle for some Miner geezer in his prime.
An old pair of socks, some crumpled paper, and one of those drinking birds
But in terms of this everything and nothing. If that leaves you confused then that makes two of us

A female barbarian.
Or more exactly someone mixing the bard and barbarian classes (one way or the other).
Either that or a Barbarian. A triple class is probably out of the question too.
So far we have...
Lawful Good Fighter/Cleric (Yeslick)
Chaotic Evil Battlerager (Korgan)
Lawful Evil Fighter (Kagain)
Give us a neutral dwarf to balance it out.
I meant, int is their dump stat afterall...
Other than that, I vote for Bard or Cleric. Adventure Y, being an intermezzo won't be as long and epic as BGEE or BG2EE and a well-written (eg - not spoony) bard might be interesting for a while.
I don't find bards all too useful so I rarely put up with them in the long run, but this might be a good refreshing run.
Plus - I find Jaheira bossy and annoying, Anomen annoying and obnoxious and Aerie whiny and annoying in BG2EE. Cernd is not bad, but neither he is good so I basically have/want to use Viconia 95% of the time. A change might be nice. (No Vicky, you are the only one I swear!)
How about making him/her a half-orc with high strength and constitution so we could have a front-line arcane caster that can actually cast higher than 6th level spells?
what if we had a character coming to terms with the dragon heritage in the party and its based around levels and every time they get a new ability it moves forward with their story. We can watch them either embrace their changes and influence their decisions or we can watch them slowly wither and become fearful of the monster that they are.
The most interesting is that SethDavis also put his voice here. Looks promising.
Even if it's not a gazebo.
Maybe a goblin then?
