Had exactly the same issue with SCS v32rc6, and used the same work around.
Another little issue with some duplicate spells. I installed IWDification, TnB, FnP and SCS and had some cure medium wound duplicates in the spellbook and at least 2 or 3 others (not quite useful but I deleted the game to wait a stable SCS). I checked some of those spells: usually they were the exact same spells but sometimes not.
The cure spell for example existed in 2 versions, one of them allowing to target a character as usual but always ended in healing the caster.
Had the same issue with some mage spells using TnB component that modifies some spells levels: I had duplicates, not all of them functional (remember of Armor spell which was a first LVL for my main character after creation, but a 2nd LVL if learned with a scroll (and not working as intended).
Sorry for such vague explanations I've not the modded game on my computer but I'll check if I have screenshots left.

Sorry, @Mythalar . I missed this. It looks like there is some kind of conflict between fnp and tnb... I'll be doing an update sometime in the nearish future. I'll look into this then.

@Grammarsalad I don't know if you are aware of the fact that a considerable number of mods have flails that are specifically designed for Clerics. i.e. They give a +1 bonus to Wisdom. They are to be found in such mods as "The Drizzt Saga" "NToSC" "Dark Horizons" and some store mods as well.
By preventing clerics using flails, FnP also stops clerics using these items. I believe that some of them can ONLY be used by clerics which means that they are unusable by anyone if FnP is installed.

I'm not sure, honestly. If you are talking about implementing just the kits without the sphere system, it might be a rather simple thing ( @subtledoctor how difficult would it be to toggle with an ini file--this is not something I'm familiar with).
I want to go over the base kits with a fine tooth comb--and probably eliminate a few until I can think of a better way to implement them--and do the more 'conservative' build sometime in the near future, but I'm not sure when it'll be. Probably more than 3 months, though it could be as soon as a few weeks. It's as much of a motivation thing as a time thing, but I've been pretty motivated lately (thanks to Bubb and eeex).

I have just had my Knight of the Red Falcon killed in the Gorion ambush. That shouldn't happen. Is it possible that this mod is responsible? Other possibility is SCS.

That's weird. Did they have too few hp, or did they get hit with a death effect or something??
They just got shot with arrows I think. There are other mods that could have eliminated there protection from dying from one wound before level 2. Finn Jos sub-race mod, SCS and this one all affect the character in some way. I have no ideaz which one it could be.
They survived a subsequent identical run, so it could be a combination of various bits of bad luck. It's no big deal dying so soon. I can just start again. What gets me is when a bug kills you when you've begun to identify with your character.
I can't duplicate the issue with TnB, at least not with the moniter. Even with the select deity ability (heh, I thought we got rid of that). I installed as many components from IWDification, FnP, TnB and SCS as possible. Perhaps it's a specific mixture of components, not sure. There are a lot of variables...

@subtledoctor I am using windows, not macOS. Does it appear to think otherwise? This is with the sphere variable set to zero yes. Same for item changes, dual classing and minor access shift.
