Thanks @Shandyr - Me + graphics is not a good match AT ALL.
But any thoughts and comments on my first go?
I wasn't happy with the beard or the eyes (they looked a bit blurry) but when the image is small on the right-hand sidebar it works nicely. Otherwise I think I managed to keep the definition in the hair on head. I also found it tricky with the light background ...
Edit - thank you for the dedication, I feel warm and fuzzy now!
Would anyone mind giving a photo of me the Baldur's Gate treatment? I've always wanted to be Baldurised. It should make my playthroughs quite interesting! XD
Nice work, but aren't these too blurry? They remind me of Icewind Dale esthetics more. BG portraits are little more sharp and you can see very defined shades and colorful reflections on the faces of the characters. Also every portrait from original BG has very defined color scheme.
I do not think it is a matter of being homo or hetero - it is an artistic matter I just think that the trait needs to be slightly smoothed - feel free to consider the suggestion or not.

I decided to try the same picture...
Jonathan Pryce as The High Sparrow

There is just one thing I would try to improve - the boob on the left has a trait that is too much marked:
(And although I am gay, I can appreciate good boobs!)
I just think that the trait needs to be slightly smoothed - feel free to consider the suggestion or not.
...
I really feel I should not be the one defending the need to not manipulate the boob in some way...
