in Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition
This is only my second time through ever, so there are lots of interesting things I'm noticing for the first time.

Like, one of the tutors tells you, "If you die, you may load an earlier save, provided one is available. I've done so three times myself just today. Very refreshing." :smiley:

What on earth has this guy been doing, that he's had to reload three times already?!

Also, when Imoen adds herself to your party, you get 2 gold! Thanks buddy!

    IDK, but in alternate universe news, a Bhaalspawn was bludgeoned to death by his tutor today.

    Whew, narrowly avoided a TPK south of the inn. Sorry for getting you down to 1 hp, Khalid! You and Jaheira kited like champs while I stuck Ogre full of arrows.

    This may be the first time ever that I used more than 1 healing potion in a combat. Usually I hoard them. And I never used to let party members die. It's been a different playthrough for me for sure.

    Firebead gave me a book* as a reward for getting him a book? Will this become a mini-game of trading up? Eventually I will end up with a book of... tome of... manual of.... I'm sure it will be good!

    I was actually more annoyed by his outburst than with her sizzling on the ground. Fancy that. It just came to me. And here I've been playing this game since it came out.

    I was kind of the same way when a bolt of lightning fried a few ogres I was fighting. It wasn't the whole "oh cool, they just got smote," it was "Gods blast it, that was MY XP you just stole!"

    @FinnTheHuman @imnotgod Thanks. I figured that actually playing the game would be a nice break from the endless Blood War that is currently being raged about certain aspects of it.

    @Yulaw9460 Poor Dynaheir! Did you raise her?

    In case anyone forgot the name of the annoying halfling who pickpockets from you, it's Perdue Zhurlong. :rage: Burn that into your memory. That's my booze money you stole, jerk!

    Are you constantly having to save Neera from Red Wizards, or is it just in this game? In any case, I added her to my party. Having a wild mage ought to be good for a few reloads.

    Well, Kagain got eaten by a black bear outside the Morninglord's Temple, but I'd picked up Garrick a little earlier so it's ok!

    Whaaat. Garrick's been in the party for 2 hours and already Jaheira likes him more than Yuni Juni.

    Proof that Jaheira isn't a metagamer, cause Garrick is horrible, even by pre-3.5 bard standards. Or maybe she has a thing for horrible, considering her husbands meek personality...

    Garrick kept running up and trying to club them with his crossbow and I was like, Garrick, what are you doing?? You have 1 hitpoint!! until I realized he was still blinded from Neera's Reckless Dweomer backfire a couple of fights ago.

    These two are going to be real assets to my party, I can tell.

    Really quite amusing.

    I have Neera in my team as well and she turned me into a wolf.
