Hi @autequi, I hope not to disrupt your thread, but since you are also releasing dead comrades with reckless abandon I wanted to share an update.
Last night Churchil, Cavalier, was clearing out Durlag's tower. On the the first floor of the dungeon, ajantis and branwen died by the wardens. He puts all their gear in a barrel and goes back to nashkel to recruit, Xan, Jaheria, and Khalid. Who he dropped after the Mines. He takes them back to the barrel and equips them.
I can only imagine what is going through those level 2 companions minds as they're putting all those heavily enchanted armor stowed in a barrel next to two stripped down bodies. Well, Jaheria at least survived the next Greater dopelganger cloudkill attack a few minutes later. Sorry Khalid, sorry Xan. I'm deciding whether or not to reload them or nix them as well. Maybe i'll make up a rule that if i can get them revived within 9 hours...What do you think?

Yikes, that might be a little tough if someone dies out in the middle of nowhere, like Peldvale which is 20 hours away from the nearest cleric temple. Maybe within a day?
I have a semi-pragmatic approach to companion deaths. Monty, Xzar, and Jaheira were all NPCs I didn't want in this playthrough, so when they died, I just went with it. Imoen and Neera were collateral damage. Going forward, I probably won't have that many deaths because I'll try to keep Khalid, Garrick and Xan. They have the best sound sets!
Gods, that sounds like the way I thief my way through an Elder Scrolls game. If it's not nailed down, take it. If it is nailed down, remove the nails, take the item, and sell both.

Hey, although I started the thread and am constantly spamming it, everyone is welcome to post their amusing, weird, tragic, and/or head-shaking moments!
Yeah... we were wiped out by a bunch of spiders, the ones in the house. Those antidotes she gives you for high charisma really come in handy, wish I had them >.< I cannot decide whether to load or make a new character. Damn BG's Hard.
Hmm. It seems a doppelgänger is attempting to replace Rassad. I would help him, but I can't tell which is the real one. I'd hate to kill the wrong one.
I thought I could ascertain the identity of the real Rassad. I figured the doppelgänger would not help me face Nimbul. This doppelgänger foe is more clever than I had anticipated though.
(A few in game weeks later) Rassad has proven to much for a single doppelgänger. The cowardly doppelgänger has called in reinforcements.
It's almost like when I saw Kylo Ren have an emo-meltdown on screen for the first time. My first thought was "Who the Hell thought it was a good idea to give him a lightsaber?".
Ouch - why a 7 dex - you are just tripping over yourself when walking -such poor coordination, so sad - not someone I would want to dance with lol - poor you - make sure you find the scroll protection from missiles otherwise... well you - with such a bad dex, I advise staying invisible for most of the game or drinking agility potions until you become addicted to them
@magisensei It was my first roll, I dropped a point in strength to bump his int. to 18 but that was all.. probably should of just left it /shrug. I haven't RP'd a reason for his low dex yet... mostly cause I don't think he's going to make it This character should teach me to use items and consumables like crazy!
Soooo... I was walking randomly and hit tab and found a hidden point and grabbed up the +! prot ring, and since I had that I figured I'd grab the mage one. How are y'all handling that kinda of stuff, the secrets that you would normally never see I mean... I don't feel like I can come up with a good enough excuse to find them. Except the Diamond, I have Montaron "pretend"(he had hid it before hand himself) to find it to endear himself to my character.

Sleep, My only friend.
A good rp reason - try this one - you were damaged during your apprentice years practicing magic (too eager to try a high level spell you would soon learn to regret trying it) - it forever injured your health (both your dex and con are really low) - now you can't move very fast or swiftly anymore and you have a nagging cough that at times sends you into fits.

...but that same accident gave you a sixth sense about hidden goodies

Hel.. yea!
As in "just leveled up after kicking this camp's ass with only 1 PG. Hell, yeah!"

Also, those spiders are harder when you walk in pretending you don't know whats in there
Oh well, Onwards! To Glory!
