Not to be the poor college student that drinks piss water for beer but I'm the poor college student that drinks piss water for beer. Here is my jack-o-lantern from Halloween this year. Gotta love/hate (mostly hate) Milwaukee's Best.

I remember a beer in college that was so bad we would sprinkle salt into the bottle to make it palatable. I think it was Miller.
Against all stereotypes (me being German), I don't like beer, at least not pure I prefer it mixed with something actually tasty (Alster, Radler, Kölsch-Cola, Bananenweizen, etc.)
I can't do beer, I just can't. I hate the taste and it makes me feel bloated after a few. I can do cider and there is a meadery about a hr and half away from my house. Mead has become my favorite drink of all, otherwise I'm quite fond of some decent polish vodka or dark rum.
there is many good polish beers, recently ( last 3 years) in Poland there is a great demand for local beers, like: ipa, apa, american, india pale ale, and many different kind of hops
Oh man, I wish I knew of this thread months back when it was still active. I guess I'll just have to try an AED on it to kick start its heart again. Just call me the necromancer.
These are my five star brews according to my UNTAPPD account: - Rogue 6 Hop IPA - Rekorderlig Paron (Cider)...Amazing stuff. The Raspberry is a 6-star on a five scale. - Left Hand Brewing Milk Stout Nitro - Space Needle Golden IPA - Left Hand Brewing Milk Stout - Funky Buddha Brewery Nib Smuggler (Porter) - Darwin Brewing Llama Mama (Milk Stout) - Darwin Brewing Tangerine Wheat - Hidden Springs Ale Works Ginger Mullet (Red Ale) - Coppertail Brewing (Local brewery) Raspberry Gardenia (Blonde Ale) - Cigar City (Local Brewery) Cranberry Grove (Sour Ale) - Ulele Spring Brewery Wedding Beer (Fruit Beer) - Pipeworks Brewing Cherry Truffle Abduction (American Imperial Stout) - Keith Howard's Smoked Maibock (Smoked beer) from Cigar City Brewing - Dogfish Head Sixty-One (IPA) - The Rooster Says Sriracha Gose (Three Palms Brewing...recently closed, breaking my heart). The best beer I've ever had. Seriously. It left the best bite in the back of your throat. Pure bliss.
I love living where I do, where there are so many awesome craft brew locations. My wife and I are about to move due to her job, and I'm lamenting it a great deal. I'm hoping we come back when she starts another career.
My favourite beer is the one that is closest to me at any one moment friends, I am sure you can appreciate that feeling. If you want something specific though, Little Creatures Pale Ale is a good standard that you can enjoy any time.
I prefer drinking Cruisers and other sugary premixes, because I'm just that fabulous. Call me backward, but I really can't tell one brand of beer from the other. I'm still trying to figure out whether or not I like sweet ciders, as well.
Here is my beer update for this weekend friends. I'm currently drinking a Sleeping Giant IPA from Gage Roads. There is a friendly elephant on the label and we could all use some more friendly elephants in our lives.
Samuel Adams Crystal Pale Ale yesterday. Samuel Adams Rebel Grapefruit IPA today. Both very tasty. Jim Koch spurred on a craft beer revolution. It's nice to go back to his work once in a while.
Theakston's Old Peculiar from what was my local brewery in Masham, England is my favourite tipple. It actually has flavour unlike lagers. It also has a kick.

A good british ale or bitter is my beer of choice, if I had to pick just one.
Heh, I really love how you @Wise_Grimwald keep rejuvenating old threads. This is one of my favorite ones!
Living in Singapore now I have to say my beer consumption has gone down a bit, at least when it comes to quality. The beer here is RIDICULOUSLY expensive and it's almost as expensive to buy beer in the store as it is in the pub, oddly enough. Also, another annoyance is that you can hardy get a proper pint sized beer. The beers you got are those tiny mugs of about ~3 DLs which in this heat you down in about three large gulps.
@Skatan This time it was @EnialusMeliamne who was the necromancer, though I admit that I am a bit of one too. When I am on a long hike, there is nothing like a pint of Shandy. It doesn't touch the sides on the way down. Though when at home and having a slow relaxing ale, Old Peculiar is the one.

There's a couple of british pubs here, being an old colonial city and all, but I haven't had time to visit any of them yet.
Cheers!
