I love the reboot of Ducktales so far. The new version of the intro song is great, but I find the Sky pirate song and its reprise even more catchy. https://youtu.be/YKSU82afy1w
Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors was a revenge piece!
Filmation screwed over J. Michael Straczynski and Larry DiTillio by not crediting them for any of the work they did in creating and writing She-Ra. Straczynski quit and went to work for DIC who wanted him to create a world and TV series for their new line of toys as a direct competitor to He-Man and She-Ra.
Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors only had a handful of toys so he had complete freedom to do whatever he wanted with the world. Unfortunately, they released the toys before they finished the show and the toys bombed (because no one knew what they were) so the show was canceled after it's initial production run.
J. Michael Straczynski would eventually go on to create Babylon 5 alongside DiTillio, writing 92 of the shows 110 episodes.
As an aside: I recently found out that She-Ra was created because He-Man was outselling Barbie (because little girls in the 80's wanted the dolls that kicked ass instead of doing their nails) so Mattel created She-Ra to capitalize on this unexpected demographic.
Shifting era:
From the creator of Sailor Moon.
Revolutionary Girl Utena!
Created in part because Kunihiko Ikuhara didn't feel the LGBT themes in Sailor Moon were strong enough and he wanted to get really, really dark with it.

Season 1 is a pretty standard anime and may as well be Sailor Moon 2.0.
Season 2 goes dark... really dark.
Season 3 is darker... and very surreal.
Utena has an amazing score. Each piece is iconic and receives remixes and updates as the show advances and every dual has its own unique theme.
