Personally I like the fact that it shows whatever weapon someone is using when they are in melee combat. Though I'm not sure how two weapon style will be handled
I wonder if the double circles are to indicate whether a character has any actions/attacks left that round or something similar? I also noticed that the avatars *are* using BG1 rectangular shields (for large shields, anyway, see: http://www.beamdog.com/assets/products/10865/original/Screen06.png), hurrah! :-)
It's clearly edited but I don't know why that should matter, it's just painted over very quickly to allow for some simple text editing (From what I can make out in 'Shop) Multitude of reasons for this, none of which involving some sort of conspiracy or cover-up ^^
I wonder what the minimum stats for a Blackguard are, especially Charisma. Dorn has 16, which is one less than the Paladin minimum, but NPCs have broken the class minimum stat rules before... Also, I wonder which races can become a blackguard
Not fact they add this scrolls. Neera is a wild mage and she chose spells from the list when leveling. Perhaps this spells would be available only for wild mage (but i don't think)

Yeah, like I said only Minsc and Quayle. Kind of sad his Charisma isn't a 17 to be honest.
Only Humans can be Blackguards. They answered this in the AMAA way back. "Dorn is speshul." Something like that lol.
I'm not going to lie, I think Rasaad's new portrait is super ugly. He looks really pink and I preferred the robes. Guess I'll be putting his original in the override folder. =P And probably the other two will be getting their original portrait as well, Neera's color-change isn't offensive but Dorn's looks odd as well.
Ok, I just checked to be sure, but the stats of Dorn are correct. I can also say that the stat textboxes actually have a different background texture in the actual game. I think its possible that that screenshot came from an older build and they decided to pretty it up a bit.

@quartz - Where can I find the orignal artwork to use for portraits?

Yeup, that is exactly what it is from, just an older build. That's it.
Notice in the last picture how the party is fighting with 4-5 ghouls and the noblewomen are 5 meters away chatting (!) as if the fight is nothing of importance. It would be nice to see a morale failure for civilians that cannot fight.
Looks like they decided to stick with just the simple gold showing swords over characters portraits if in melee combat as well as whatever spell they are casting being shown in that same manner (melf acid arrow and armor shown on screen05.
Edit: That of course or these have also all been edited over. Making what I'm saying mostly worthless from a final product point of view.

The gold swords are from an older build. The game uses an image of the weapon you are currently using, hence why some of the screenshots show Rasaad with a fist.

Yea thats what I assumed. I guess the image with the coloured weapons has no one casting in it which threw me off.

Either way, glad that the screenshots are being overanalyzed as per thread instructions!

And Rasaad's robe is yellow, not pink. >_>

You're right, my mistake. Sorry @Quartz.
