I will be the last! And you will go first.
Pre-loading for Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition has begun.
If you're installing the game through the Beamdog client, please exit the client and restart it. There is an update available. The latest Beamdog client can also be downloaded here.
If you wish to install the game through the stand-alone Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition Installer, you can download it right in this vicinity.
In both cases, the game will download but remain unplayable until November 28th.
If you are experiencing difficulties, please let us know either here or through support@beamdog.com and we will get you sorted out ASAP.
In addition, this new post on the Candlekeep Library may be relevant to your interests: It contains a collection of new screenshots, along with a video.
For those of you stuck at "Getting download info..."
Because of the high volume of traffic, Beamdog.com started handing out '503' errors, which means that the server was too busy to respond to your request. As such, the installer was having difficulty downloading some necessary files from our site. The 503 errors should be largely gone now, so please exit your client and restart it. It may take some time to connect, so please be patient.
If you are still stuck later on, let us know. We're still looking into the issue to see if some people are stuck in different ways.
If you have a different issue, or if your issue persists after waiting for awhile, please contact support@beamdog.com

Iwe only got giftable games ....:/
I meant the beamdog site, although since it is already up in the official BG website, it should be fine for everyone
Edit: The file here in the forums is named BGEEinstaller.exe, in the site you have BGEEsetup which points to an error/can't find in the Beamdog site
Can you tell me a little bit more about your internet setup? Are you behind any school or work firewalls, etc?
I have the same problem - stuck on 'Getting download info...'
Using the BGEE standalone installer
No firewalls, not involved in beta
iwe contacted support.. still no answer though..
i'll retry now to re-launch it
...yay!
If it's still stuck at "Getting Download Info..." let me know, we're rooting around our back end here to see what's causing the issue.
Rebooting, and will let you know what i did :P
It's getting download info again.
i'll reboot now and let you know straight away, brb
