The DL has started (Moscow, RU) after a few hours of wait. I guess it's obvious that the delays you get are due to immense pressure on Beamdog servers. Just wait a few more hours and you'll be set.
I guess I'm confused. I click the icon and get told to enter my email address and password. Is this for the rest of the download, or is this the actual game? I entered and got a server error, but can't tell if that means I can't download the rest, or if this is what we use on the 28th
A hint of advice, i saw the teaser trailer now, for me it's cool, but for new customers, the poor quality image (probally derivated from the upload on youtube) can make a somehow counter publicity. if that video in the future comes to be replaced with a more filtered image, that could be better.
Just saying anyway, probally the video is much more for us, the old fans that were dry of waiting for a teaser video than for publicity itself. As one of the people that was hoping for a teaser video before the release i'm pretty happy.

I'm also getting the same error message when I try to launch the Beamdog client. I was going to try downloading this tomorrow, since I can't download at home (poor speed and even poorer data cap). I'm using a laptop, Toshiba A300-21H, which is also used for software development, so it has got things like VS2005/08/10/12 and all the necessary frameworks. I very rarely get errors like this, and only usually on my other computers* or virtual machines (haven't tried this on any of them) that don't have VS or the .NET frameworks installed, so I'm left a little confused as to why on this. I have DirectX completely up to date since 2007, too.
*Before anyone suggests, I can't realistically try this installer/downloader out on any of my other computers for said reason of data cap and poor speed, as well as not having Windows or Mac installed on all of them. Nor can I really transport my main computer given its size and weight (the one few downsides to the Cosmos II case). But I can say that the Beamdog client works on my main computer. I just can't download anything from home, which leaves me a little snookered as to how to get this game...
I was able to connect after some try (I was getting an error regarding the connection to the server) and the message 'Getting download info' stay there for a while before I get 'Ready to download'.
But now its seem to work, its downloading (slowly, but downloading).
Austria, Have Preordered too of course, becoming just that "getting download info" message and limited Connectivity even if i have no firewall around..

Thanks.
