Just about lost it with a Minsc line I never saw before in SoD. Before leaving Baldur's Gate, a little girl asks if you are going to kill Caelar. If charname is reluctant to answer, Minsc chimes in with this absolute gold, "Let Minsc take care of this. Little girl. In this world, there are many butts. Some are good butts, and those we shall leave unkicked. Some butts, however..." And at this point he is cut off by Dynaheir.

Did you know the noble couple in the Inn in Candlekeep are Thurston and Lovey? Aka the Howells from Gilligan's Island? Also, if you click on Firebead Elvenhair 30 times, you get 300 gold? And you can do it again in Beregost.
@LadyRhian As much as I ADORE those fantasy splash pages, they aren't really funny and don't fit the theme of this thread. I know I waited forever to say something, I'm not used to a thread of mine getting this much attention, or with trying to maintain one.

I agree on that.
But the gloomy drawings are also really good. They deserve their own thread - please “thread us” @LadyRhian
There was one movie with a metal box hanging from the ceiling, and one of the robots shouts out, "The air conditioner committed suicide!"
And another one where a lot of the jokes were about breakfast foods, and when the hero stops in the middle of something for a moment or two, they shout, "He's waffling!"
Someone I know named his Metapod something started with P, because he could then read, "P used Harden. It is Super Effective!" And it made him laugh like a loon.
It's not a mop that grew a face, it's a breed from Hungary, known as a Puli.
Mostly, they are black, however, the white/cream ones, do look like mops. their fur develops into 'cords' And it takes quite a lot of work to keep them from turning into a frizzy mess. My favorite picture is the Rasta Puli
Incidentally, more than one Puli is called a "Pulik".

Most Third class passengers died because their rooms were at the bottom of the ship, and gates closed off the staircases to keep them out of the "better" areas. During the chaos, the Stewards didn't have time to open them all, so most third-class passengers died outright when their rooms flooded. Also, the man who designed the ship, went down with the ship.
Me wantz choppa tub nao!
