Is there a way in which i can save and import my active selection of mods and components from which the install sequence is generated after i close PI or press the blue reset button?
I had a few questions on this tool after using it for the first time about a week ago.
Is there a particular reason the mods are not in a universal list with individual websites or download portions appended in their own column? This would be much easier to sort and look for individual mods for mod list orders.
Does each individual author need to give you permission to link it? If so why are there only partial mods by certain authors? Like for example Gitjas or Spellhold Studios.
I have a feature request: an option to set the install order and component selection (i.e., panel on the left) based on an imported InstallSequence CSV.
Rationale: currently there is no way to modify an imported InstallSequence (other than editing the CSV file in a text editor); the only thing you can do after import is installing it as-is. Not sure if i'm alone in this, but for me a typical use case involves modifying an existing InstallSequence in some way (adding or removing components, etc.), which is not currently possible in PI
Greetings. I'm giving BG & BG2 another go. I've started them countless times but never actually finished the game. I've modded manually in the past and have used the EE-Mod-Tool. I'm going for a fairly basic EET install with just a few quest mods and some gameplay tweaks. I have my clean EE edition installs (GoG versions). When I run Project Infinity and use the Mods button to download latest versions of any mods, I get "Empty gitPath." I have installed Git for Windows (Windows 11). I have added the Git bin and cmd folders to my system path entry. I also tried adding a "gitPath" system variable pointing to the git bin folder. I have disabled Eset and allowed the PI executable in Defender firewall. The issue persists. What did I miss?
Hi, i have a question, i want to know if there is any possibility to run Project Infinity on Wine, i have a laptop with Ubuntu 24.04 lts and a Win 11 on a virtual machine installed on it, the problem is that the bg games (even unmoded) seems to lag and to be slowed down on the virtual machine with Windows, but perfectly run with Wine on the Ubuntu os...
If i whant to make a dyamic install with splited mods for install order reasons, i need to do it with PI right ?
So here is my question is there any way to run PI on Wine? every attempt are like when you try to run it on windows without making exception in the antivirus...
Or, other option, can i make an install on Windows then copy the BG, BG2 EET folders and replace my installation on Wine with the copy of the moded game.. ? Including the lua file in the documents game folders ?
Will it work ?
