Hi @Silmarwen, thats great every thing is working... As for IWDEE, the engine is the same so the modfiles would work the same way. If you want a modfile created, just let me know what mods you want included. I will end up posting it into the IWDEE modding discussions though.

No problems with the above. Have you played IWDEE before? If so, then I noticed that @LavaDelVortel has added a number of new mods, NPCs and quests, that look great. If you haven't yet played the game, then I can do the above list (maybe with one or two more mods) and save the others for a later game.
I shall add the modfile either later today or tomorrow.

@Gusinda No worries and take your time mate, I have not played IWDEE before though I did play the original IWD and HoW expansion years ago so I am not familiar with the improvements/changes between the EE version and original. By the way, thanks for informing me about Lava's and AionZ's mods, I didn't know that they have an assortment of mods for IWDEE.
@Silmarwen, below is the modfile for IWDEE... It contains all of the mods you were chasing and I added some others like More Styles for Mages, IWD House Rules, Barbarian-Sharman class along with Better Sarmanic Dance, Bigger Bard Song and 1ppv4: Smart Avatar & Armour Switching.
Have a look at the WeiDU.log and let me know if you don't want any of that and I can remove.

Wow the old thread expanded into a brand new one with awesome modfiles! The one thing that bothers me with this new mod files is the avatar switching mod. While great for a mage multi, if you are playing F/T there is no way to get the thief avatar it seems. Tried also with EEkeeper but the mod is preventing the change and keeps the fighter avatar.
@Gusinda sorry to bother you again but do you know any way to remove only the smart avatar and armor switching from the modfiles you made at the start of this new thread?
@Gusinda Hi there! hope you are keeping safe in these times, so I finally got some time to test the modlist you made for IWDEE and I have encountered bugs/errors that are strange to say the least.
First, as soon as I start selecting male gender for my character I get a couple of "invalid xxxxx" pop up to which I assume is the modded content (modded classes) and once I finished char creation using a male main character and proceed to the prologue (Hrothgar introducing himself) then I also encounter a couple of "invalid xxxxx" which I assume are the modded contents as well as original content. Here are some screenshots of those error I mentioned.
Secondly, this is when things get weird because as soon as I start a new game this time by creating a female main character, all of those bugs/errors I encountered are suddenly fixed. Here are the screenshots.
Here is also a screenshot of the IWDEE folder in my mobile just in case you need to see it.

Hi @Silmarwen, haven't seen this problem on IWDEE til now but I haven't placed many Kit mods on it before...
We have encountered this on BG2EE though and the work around is relatively simple. I have taken the solution and added it to the spoiler below (changed the context to Icewind Dale). It basically takes your vanilla dialog.tlk out of the game files so the game itself has to count on the modded dialog.tlk as the only source for all text.
When I was doing some fault finding, it got confuse with a couple of specific kit mods, so I think this is the best fix.
- Make a backup of 'Android/obb/com.beamdog.icewinddale/patch.730.com.beamdog.icewinddale.obb' to anywhere not in its folder (this is just a safety measure so that if it goes wrong, you don't need to redownload it). If you don't have the space then that is fine and this step can be skipped. It just means a download later of the file if a problem occurs.
- Install 'RAR for Android' if you don't have it (free in the Google Play store). I know this one works, not sure about other compression software.
- Open RAR and navigate to 'Android/obb/com.beamdog.icewinddale/'
- Long press on 'patch.730.com.beamdog.icewinddale.obb' and rename to 'patch.730.com.beamdog.icewinddale.obb.zip'
- Short press on 'patch.730.com.beamdog.icewinddale.obb.zip' which should open the file allowing you to look at the contents. If it asks which program to use, then direct it to RAR.
- navigate to '/lang/en_US/', long press on 'dialog.tlk' and rename to 'dialog.klt' (it can be anything as long as it follows the xxxxxx.xxx naming rule. I just reverse the extension so that I know what it was...)
- let RAR save the renaming (it takes a little while but you can see when it is finished by looking at the bottom of the app window, it will revert back to the long file name). This method should not change the size of the .obb at all.
- Back out of 'patch.730.com.beamdog.icewinddale.obb.zip' so that you again see the whole file.
- Rename 'patch.730.com.beamdog.icewinddale.obb.zip' back to 'patch.730.com.beamdog.icewinddale.obb' (this is often forgotten; if the game starts to try and redownload the .obb, this is the first place to look for a fix)
- That ends the adjustment for the .obb
- Navigate to 'Android/data/com.beamdog.icewinddale/files/', either by RAR or your normal File Manager. Install the modfile vide previous instructions.
- Make sure that 'lang-en_US.zip' is in the root sitting beside 'Baldur.lua'
You can now exit out of the File Manager / RAR and try and start the game. Hopefully all goes well this time.
If it doesn't start, could you let me know whether it doesn't attempt to start (ie: a quick open, then close straight away without any error messages) or it comes with a message that it couldn't start. If the game tries to redownload the .obb, it means that something went wrong with renaming dialog.tlk in the .obb. If that is the case, restart the device (so that the download will cancel), delete 'patch.730.com.beamdog.icewinddale.obb', replace it with the backup and repeat the steps above.
I tested it before and after renaming dialog.tlk. I was getting the same error as you with the sex changes and incorrect text. All good after name change.
Let me know if you have any probs and I will see if I can step you through.
@Gusinda Just applied the fix and it works like a charm! My apologies for bothering you with this, I just realized this was a similar issue encountered by noodlesoupstrainer and Kaldur.
Anyway, I will keep testing if anything else pops up but I think we are on the clear.
so i downloaded the modfile for bg 1 and was gonna see if you could make that modfile with scs as well i tried installing the scs modfile you made for me but it overrides this bg1 file is there a way i could get scs working with that file ?
yeah the mod for bg 1 is working well with scs and the other mods. I'm not too familiar with all the mods possible for the second game but would like if that file you uploaded for bg 2 had accession and scs with the other stuff please. So far im having a blast with scs. playing a lawful good mage playthrough trying to take her through all the games.

I do recall there was a vampire mod somewhere. I will have a look to try and remember where and what limitations there were. Definately haven't seen anything in regards to playing a lich.
Just copy to the /files folder and it should play without having to edit the .obb. I gave it a quick test on my Note8 and everything looked fine. Just let me know if there is a prob.
For the Vampire Mod, it is called (Mark of Vampirism). Unfortunately, other than v1.0 (which was for BG2 Classic), it is not translated to English (German only mod). If you want to have a look at what it contains (for when it would/may be translated), then have a look here.
As far as the IWDEE mod goes, I have been putting one together for the community over the last couple of weeks. It is nonw finished and will be available in the IWDEE Mods section of the forumshortly.

Hi @TavenOrd and @Stephburn, I shall see what I can do. What version of BG are you using? These mods are for 2.5.x which wont work on the current 2.6.x version. I have been away for a number of months (house sale and move) so need to catch up on the versions of the mods etc and reset my modding area.

Hello @Gusinda, I am currently using bg2 2.6.6.10. Mods from the above link do work in the current version but problem do occur here and there. Like berserker rage ability and some items has no discription. Will be waiting for your update, until then will be playing as a plain old paladin.
