In case it´s neccessary to write a notice here as well (already wrote message to OlvynChuru) - I´ve finished steam version of IWD:EE on HoF (and day before yesterday finished co-op playthrough on insane with brother and cousin) and if possible would enjoy comparing the first with second in EE which I bought right yesterday (nostalgy is strong, but I remember having few hard times
with the 2nd game on highschool).

I was given chance to play beta, so far the game is way better than vanilla version, classes revisions are fantastic. Attacks of opportunity are amazing. Quick loot is great qol improvement and shops finally have something to offer.
Just few thoughts / questions:
1) Some races are more potent than others (Deep gnomes, drows). Im glad this "lower effective level" was removed, xp penalty is imo better solution, but in the end all races end on same level (on HoF everyone will sure be maxed before game ends). Maluses on their daytime vision (-2 attack i think it is) are nice and imho it´s the way to go, but one just needs to wait till night. Not sure I´d make race punishments more severe, but some races are simply more powerful on max lvl.
1,5) Revisions to races are great, especially like the elven "use long sword with finesse", but dwarfs seem lacking - they get +2 con for -2dex/cha and some minor saves. Id make them more durable in some way (in 2nd edition they got nice + saves from con and also got Dwarven defender kit ---> there´s already "kensai kit" on lvl 1, picking dwarven defender on lvl1 just for dwarfs would be amazing).
2) Scripts would use some love - especially bards seem to stop singing everytime they can. There is script which chooses their song automatically, but imo something like "unless told to do anything else just sing the song I chose you" script would be nice (aka after casting spell or if target dies just sing). I have two of them, so the struggle will be real on higher lvls
2,5) Searching for traps is no longer just thief thing, but this particular skill imho deserves script ( "Unless told to do anything else / after casting spell / after target dead just search/look for traps"). Sure one can just step on trap and load game, but it´s cheap and breaks immersion.
edit: just pick an elf, dude has searching for traps 24/7 as passive ability; imho dwarves are more into mechanics (hence they get best bonuses to find traps and picklocking in Bg/Iwd series) than elves; how about moving this passive to Thief class to preserve Thief class identity.
Btw so far no bugs spotted.
Overall he game is incomparably more enjoyable. Looking forward to try new OP combinations of spells.

Hi I have found the revised game super stable and really exciting to reexperience the game.
Concerning the spell ‘quiver of plenty’ would you consider to extend it so it also create the same effect for bolt and bullets? There is three ammunition slots available:) and I am a halfling ranger with bullets or a dwarf with crossbow as super companions for the adventure.

Dang I got excited for a sec... but it's just a mod. And well it makes all those changes that are basically why I avoid mods. Oh well.
I wonder if anyone will ever mod the mod to remove all the unneeded added stuff.. ;P
What exactly does "just a mod" mean? Because with so many bugfixes, technical improvements (better fog of war, much smoother cursor movement) and QoL additions it really is more like an Enhanced Edition. And any and all rule changes are optional and can be omitted. Which you'd know if you read the first page.
is Polymorph the same thing as Shapeshift? Can sorcerer/wizard with 5 lvls of druid and Natural spell feat cast spells while Polymorphed? Can polymorphed Bard sing songs?
*edit: No, polymorph is not the same thing as Shapeshift, one cannot cast spells while polymorphed. Non spell abilities like power attack or bard song can be used tho.
Do kensai´s dmg /attack bonuses, warrior´s per 5 and per 10 lvl bonuses and Weapon Specialisation dmg/attack bonuses on Touch weapon/Fists benefit monk? It only states that monk has his own attack per round tables - how about dmg? Does spell Lich form increase DC or only duration (in case i wanted lich monk) ?
*edit: for paralysing strikes on monk the druid as second class seems better, or maybe simply use Link effects spell, will try
