Full heavily modded EET installation takes more or less 2,5h.
I've had some of mine take 14-16 hours!
Now you have to check from time to time if installation didn't stop due to some error.
Well you can actually tell it not to stop for warnings and/or errors. You just need to amend the ini file. (If you need help with that see the draft P.I. First Time Users Reference Document I did).
I just got an idea. Can you add sound warning when something happens during installation? ...With sound you would exactly know when error occured.
As per above you are better to tell it to not stop on error, at least IMO - the reason is there's nothing you can do anyway once there is an error so why stop the process (and why add a notification). I find it much more productive to just have the install run it's course and complete, then assess the logs afterwards and review all the warnings and errors. Then amend your install sequence and rerun a fresh install... It's quicker and cleaner and more productive in the end...
Having the computer 'ding' all the time for errors is kind of like the ambulance at the bottom of the cliff, its too late to help.
FYI: There is one thing it will always stop on, IIRC, explicit text warnings. You can't have it automatically by pass those. But I've only encountered one or two mods with them to date (e.g. LCA_Explicit).
I didn't know that you can skip all errors. In my installation i always have one, so i had to check when to unpause PI. Now it will be much easier. Thanks for telling me about it.
Hi
Question for PI users (is there are any?)
How to instal The Stone of Askavar in PI mod manager, before EET??? Is not possible or i am drinking to much??? Could you make some print screen, please? Or I have to install all BG1EE mods manualy, and after that link BG1EE game folder to PI mod manager?
Seems that PI is unfinished project or you have to have Bill Gates knowledge to run mods through them to get EET (my opinion is based on amout of video you can see on youtube - ZERO!!! )
3 years ago i used EE MOD SETUP TOOL for run BGEET with a loot of small and big mods with, with out problem, but it is over...

Are you just having a problem with PI generally - for example it's your first time using it - or with the Stone of Askavar mod? If the former and you are having issues with PI as you haven't used it (much) before, then check out my draft First Time Users Document I mentioned in post above (link is in quote below) - it might have some helpful info...

...if it's the latter and you are familiar with P.I. and you are having issues with the actual SoA mod, I have installed it successfully recently in a large EET install with all the other additional quest mods about halfway through my sequence (well after EET Start, and before EET End).

I will be active for a couple of days next week, hopefully to cover any unfinished business. So, if there is something important, let me know.
Windows Defender is calling it a Trojan
Well fair enough; But ive added it to the white list and asked windows to run it as a admin and it does.... naught. Whats wrong?
I click it and run it and nothing
