Thanks for the updates. I tried the new version with my 2.6.6 eet modlist and EEex 1.0.0 (renamed UI-backup2.6.MENU befor install). Did you deactivate the NPC bar? I have no more NPC bar options in game (also no scale slider):
Very nice mod, but I didn't understand how the keyboard shortcuts are supposed to work! I just wanted the standard backspace to select all members in the party members as it always did in the bg2 games, but when you activate the option for shortcuts it just displays a kind of cross similar to the symbol when a character gains a new level, left clicking it does nothing, right clicking it displays this strange dialog
(it's partially in french here).
You can click only the button with a book which seems to be to do quick load, which copies the icon in the top raw as here, you can even fill the top row with it... Is it even related to keyboard shortcuts ? And right clicking the the gui button to select everyone does nothing. Help !
This menu is intended for visualising spell/ability hotkeys with buttons. Quickload is there by default, and when you assign a hotkey to any spell or ability, it will show in the second row. So you choose empty slot from the first row, hotkey from the second row and in the third row you can choose which portrait is selected before the hotkey triggers. For example you can assign a magic missile to be cast by all your mages at the same time etc.

I did not deactivate it. Perhaps EEex need to be updated as well, I haven't tested it yet.
Hi @Pecca , The index numbers of some text entries on the interface differ between BG1 and BG2, but all text indices in the mod use those from BG1, causing display errors for certain text on the BG2 interface.
Performs normally under BG1.
Additionally, according to tests, the mod seems to behave abnormally in the 2.7.1.0 beta branch on Steam.
In BG1EE, the string @24680 = ~Press a key (Esc to cancel)~
while in BG2EE, this line is numbered @2802, and in IWDEE, it is numbered @37843.
In BG1EE, the string @24432 = ~Pause whenever a party member casts a spell.~
while in BG2EE and IWDEE, this line is numbered @31872.
In BG1EE, the string @24433 = ~Pause whenever a party member finds a trap.~
while in BG2EE, this line is numbered @58171, and in IWDEE, it is numbered @34672.
In BG1EE, the string @24434 = ~Center the view on the party member who triggered an auto-pause.~
while in BG2EE and IWDEE, this line is numbered @10571.
I recently tested Infinity UI++ 1.23 on EET 14.1 and game version 2.6.6 and EEex 1.0. I was not able to assign any thieving skill points at level up, nor was I able to finish leveling up. I strongly suspect Epic Thieving's new skill of Use Poison was the culprit, and I did not Use Poison as a skill on the skills list.
I believe you don't read github reports, so posting it here: I just installed 1.25 version, I don't see text in first menu.

V2.6 is now legacy. There is a UI-backup2.6.menu file in the override. If you use 2.6 you must rename this file to ui.menu.

Thanks. I didn't know it works like that. By the way shoudn't bosses information be immediatelly revealed after one kill? It's not ike you will kill boss more than once.

hey all
i registered to try and figure out a problem i'm having.
I get a black screen at startup, i am 100% sure it's some mod i have installed since if i install the UI immediatly after the EET and launch the game i can see it work correctly. However when i perform a full mod installation i get a black screen (i can't even see intro movies) and everything stays completely black. I can see the hand cursor and if i click randomly i can hear the ui responding and can change campaign.
Now i admit i have quite the amount of mods i wanted to install so probably it's not gonna be easy but if anyone has a clue i attached my weidu.log.
I have playing original bg and modded versions a lot and i wanted to give it a try with a lot of mods.
My installation process has been
manually dlc Merge into bg1 folder.
manually eefixpack into bg1 folder
manually installing bgub on bg1 folder
manually installiing maybe 1 or 2 mods into bg1 folder
manually running eet core on bg2 folder.
manually installing EEX
manually installing bub spellmenu
manually installing infinity UI++
renaming the file in the override into ui.menu (while also renaming the original one to something else) since i'm on 2.6.6.0
And if i launch the game at this point (i made a backup folder to be sure) the ui seems to be working perfectly. I can switch campagin back and forth check options although i havent gone past the creation screen
From there i installed the rest of the mod you can see in the weidu.log with project infinity (including eet END around the bottom) which completes without warnings or errors.
I avoided stuff like stratagems as it is flagged as not working properly yet.
Even got a couple of screens from inifinity loader.exe, one where i have the black screen and another where i have basically unmodded EET running fine:
Again the game seems to run fine behind the black screen...
any clue? i'm at a loss.
Edit: i'm patching the game on windows and running it on linux via heroic (proton). Hopefully this ain't an issue.
Just posting back to say that i think i solved my own problem... apparently it is an issue with the mesa driver itself and the mod lightning pack that messes with some shaders.. i removed that one made a new install and everything works flawlessly.

That's when hitting the "Quit" button in the options menu from a loaded game.

The same goes for Thaxll'ssillyia.
By the way, it should be "Dragon: Firkraag" or just "Firkraag"?

so it had nothgin to do with the UI itself.
