I give up. I dont want wait longer. I play better the old BG.
BGEE 1.2 plays just fine (much better than the old BG).
Right...if you know the bugs from the ee
It's BG2EE 1.2 that is problematic (though still playable).
Its the problem thats why i dont want To wait . In the moment the game its only a half playable Beta game...and i dont see the end from the patching through beamdog. I never play the full game before and cannot wait longer.
In the moment the game its only a half playable Beta game….
This is incorrect.
BGEE 1.2 is perfectly playable. I've done it (a couple of times). And I'd much rather play BGEE 1.2 over BG vanilla.
I've also played BG2EE 1.2 all the way through. Again, it's perfectly playable. I had to place some 'fixes' in the override folder, but I finished it (including ToB), and very much enjoyed it.
Ok thx for your opinion. I want to try to play BGEE1+2
Then play 'em. Both games are infinitely more polished than the original games ever were, even with another major patch on the way.
Most developers would've called it a day long ago. It's nice of Beamdog to still give us updates, but it doesn't mean the games are half-finished as it is.
BTW, GoG.com offers the summer sale right now, including BG1 and BG2 at 4.99 USD each. The chance to acquire original games at such a low price is something to look at even for those who own BG:EEs.
You can compare how it feels to play both versions, check how the changes are felt indeed, find out yourself if you can play original games after trying BG:EEs or not. You can also play original games with those mods that are not compatible with BG:EEs yet.
So that confirms that the PC BG2EE update is tied to the Android version...
Actually, the question asked of Trent was about BG2 on Android.
BG2 for samsung s5 (android)..? When please? Week, month, 1/4years?
While I'm not holding out hope that a patch for PC/Mac BG2EE is forthcoming before BG2EE on Android is released, the tweet wasn't about BG2EE on PC/Mac.
PC BG:EE 1.3 wasn't tied with Android and I don't see why BG2:EE would be either. They've been "finalizing" 1.3 for months now and BG2:EE isn't even out on Android, so I think its likely you wont see BG2:EE patch during this year.
"We are taking the Android release as an opportunity to really fix up BGII:EE and make it great, it will be some time yet."
To me, it looks this way:
1) it (i.e. BG2:EE Android) will take some time.
2) the Devs have decided to take the Android release as an opportunity to fix existing bugs in BG2:EE, i.e. not BG2:EE Android, but BG2:EE in general.
The phrase "decided to take the Android release as an opportunity to fix up BG2:EE Android" would not make any sense as there's nothing to fix in terms of BG2:EE Android yet. But there's something to fix in terms of BG2:EE in general.
3) we can still get the patch for BG2:EE PC before BG2:EE Android is released but nevertheless these two are connected with each other.
Yeah, that seems to be the case. I hoped for a BG2:EE patch in the near future to make multiplayer less broken, but I can't say I couldn't predict this. Alas, there's no relief in sight.
This is not good news. I wish they would put out hotfixes for the easy to fix but annoying bugs -- like the spirit armor bug -- while working on more difficult issues like multi-player.
i want the multiplayer Q.Q my dream of children is break ! (sorry for my english xD) i hope u will do it in few weeks , 2-3 year i wait this multiplayer Q.Q BUUUUUUHUUUUUUUHUUUUUU ^^
@AvoK Do you mean BG1:EE or BG2:EE? BG1:EE multiplayer is already fairly polished, in my experience. BG2:EE multiplayer is much rougher, but still quite enjoyable if you don't mind searching the internet/forum for solutions to bugs or not being able to finish certain quests.

It's *not* a "half playable Beta game."

Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can
