Forum spam error not working right

I keep getting this message even though all I'm doing is editing a comment. And this happens even when the edit is the only thing I have done, no other posting or edits in the "60 seconds" in question.

    I have gotten this as well.
    "You have posted 1 times in 60 seconds" - 300 second block, for an edit, and part(but not all) of the edit still went through.

    I got this message even when I went to post my first message in like 3 hours, so yeah, something is definitely buggin up on the forums here

    There are a bunch of commits to Vanilla with changes to the flood control mechanism over the last four or five days. Good bet that it's something to do with those changes.

    Have any of you been flagging posts? That generates a post that only the monitors can see, but it counts as a post for you.

    We are aware of the bug. For now If the forum gives you an error just insist on your post and let the moderators know.
