I keep getting this message even though all I'm doing is editing a comment. And this happens even when the edit is the only thing I have done, no other posting or edits in the "60 seconds" in question.
I have gotten this as well. "You have posted 1 times in 60 seconds" - 300 second block, for an edit, and part(but not all) of the edit still went through.
There are a bunch of commits to Vanilla with changes to the flood control mechanism over the last four or five days. Good bet that it's something to do with those changes.
