Beamdog is building a Mac Launcher, but it isn't ready yet.
Trent told us about a launcher but nothing else.
Probably hear more this week.
Am I missing anything? I really want to play this game. I bought it for iPad 1 for my husband, but he never played the original and is moving slowly. I'm not much of an iPad player, I'd miss my keyboard.
*Edited because I cannot spell while they are slicing of Hershel's leg. *
Nothing more official than that (that I'm aware of, anyway). The tone of Trent's posts suggested - to me, at least - that the Mac launcher is ready or nearly so, and the release will come with the next patch, so the PC, iPad, and OSX releases will all be on the same page, update-wise.
Now that it looks like most of the scheduling is more under Beamdog's control, I'd love to hear any news re: estimated release date. (Though I also don't blame them for keeping quiet, until they're sure they're able to meet any perceived "promises.")
Since they built a launcher for the MAC version, the only thing holding back release is their own desire to hold back. The only reason to hold back a release is so that all platforms are consistent version, because they have to wait on iPad v.2013 approval.

was there any mention when it was submitted? (iPad update)

No. I'm speculating based on their previous behavior.
@Baldurbash first post and 5 likes/agrees, nice! Trent and Phil have been incredibly quiet on twitter in the last 3 days for so, so I would say that's a good sign.

They've discovered that BG:EE makes one-button mice, explode!
Consequentially, they are rushing it to the shelves double time.

We're just waiting for the goodness to drop.
