-posts that are complimentary/supportive towards BG:EE or Overhaul/Beamdog, or defend them from criticism
-posts about how much more important story is than graphics

I remember way back when I was first playing Baldur's Gate and this one guy was like "Overhaul sucks" and I was like "No way man they're great", and it made me think about how nobody talks about story anymore because everyone's obsessed with graphics when really story is the most important of all, y'know? I mean..."Heya. It's me, Imoen." Right???
(Yes, I monitor these things very closely. I usually notice each time I get a point and who I got it from.)

In any case I must admit my evidence was not very solid. It was mostly based on a question I asked at one point a while back. Lemme see if I can find it...
Tresset has indeed been thinking about this since then.
The way I give things out is weird and inconsistent.
Agrees: When I agree with things.
Insightfuls: Usually when I find something, well, insightful. "Oh, hey, I find that innovative./I do that, too!/What a neat exploit! I better make good on that before it gets flushed!/Haha, they sure called me on that!" Of course, it can...actually be sort of mean when there's an argument between users; an "Insightful" can mean "Haha, you sure showed them!" without me saying that. Otherwise, an "Insightful" from me is sort of "I like this post, but find it to be insightful, as well. I can't give out both, anymore, so I'm just going to give out an Insightful!".
Likes: When I like something. Usually done when people respond to my stuff in a positive manner.
Abuse/Spam: Sometimes, people use this as an "I disagree with you, and think you shouldn't be able to post because you don't think the way that I do, and you're a bad person!" button. That's how I use it on YouTube, anyways... Other times, well, it's warranted. Because I actually respect this community a great deal, I rarely use this button, when simply ignoring the post (or commending a post to the contrary) will do.
The one precaution Tresset is most glad he took in this matter is that he never specifically stated that the pictures never were uploaded... Many more precautions need to be taken in the future however... Beware sneaky males who use female avatars...
What was the topic here? Tresset's foot in mouth?
