During our wait

I'm pretty sure i am not the only one eagerly waiting for the legal issues that keep the game back to be resolved. During that wait though i lost the will to play as i plan my "charname" ahead and i don't want my playthrough to be futile. So i am taking a break from that game with another one.. oh well Diablo 2 (no hate please). So do you guys found a substitute as well? Any old game you ve played over and over? Any new cool graphics crappy story game? Even a flash game will suffice.

I've been doing NWN a lot lately which is probably not a good thing since I already have both the patch for BG1:EE and BG2:EE. I should really be beta testing instead...

I recommend you to give D2 classic hardcore a try. Bnet Hell Chaos Runs are great for adrenaline...not so good for your heart though.

Try IWD and then IWD2. Amazing games with interesting gameplay, wonderful locations and more D&D pleasure. I'm enjoying them right now.

I've been playing Witcher for the past week, finished just yesterday only to begin Witcher 2 today :)

Cycling through my backlog of non-RPGs... The THQ sell off gave me all kinds of classics to deal with. Almost through Darksiders at the moment.

On the RPG side, been doing a lot of NWN multiplayer with some local friends. Never played PnP, so that's basically a substitute for me.

I've been playing IWD at home; and Battle Academy on my iPad.

I haven't given up on BGEE, but with BG2EE on hold for now, I'm rotating more different things.

You have been playing something that, with a good chance,we will never play??

If everything goes well, you'll play it. Or have the opportunity to play a version of it, anyway. Eventually.

If my guess is right, he is playing something that you will definitely have the opportunity to play.

Well, I usually play a lot of games. That includes time while I am waiting for Beamdog to resolve their problems and give us next big patch. Lately, I'm playing Super Street Fighter IV, The Witcher 2, Diablo 2 and 3 (like OP, no hate please). I could play more games, but it's not really worth my time, after all.

Really? Because if MY guess is right, he's been playing something that we will never, EVER get to play thanks to Atari.

Well, Trent has noted in a couple of places that the in-house team is working on something new while management handles the BG legal stuff with Atari. In that context, I think it is safe to assume that it would not be a project that Atari could interfere with.

I feel like digging out my barely functional old desktop for a round of moo2, or if really desperate, drunken civ1.

Still haven't beaten civ1 on emperor... The damn computer cheats pretty awful. Also, I'd be drunk, and most leaders don't do a great job while dunk... Better play as Mongolians! I'll never forget the shameful fate of that one Greek play through as Alexander.

Mount & Blade Warband (currently alternating between Mount & Empire and Brytenwalda mods), messing around in the Kenshi after the next content patch this morning, impatiently waiting for Shadowrun Returns to come out near the end of this month, and Dragon's Crown the month after that, and Jojo's Bizzare Adventure All-star Battle after that (still haven't decided if I'm just gonna import it or wait for the NA version...)

Playing some Dark Souls in my spare time. Great game, great graphics, great gameplay, great story, albeit not that important. But if anyone plans on getting it on the PC :

    1) Make sure you have a controller. Yes, I understand you love your keyboard. Yes I am sure it's unplayable. Yes it's silly. No, I am not joking.
    2) It's a sloppy port, so get yerself DSfix :p

Other than that, this hard to master game is really excellent. It has many choices, many variables and for those interested a slightly flawed but solid Multiplayer Co-op and PvP. But be it known that users on PC will cheat often, sometimes even using illegal weapons that have powers outside of the boundaries of this game (draining your stats) and as it is a GfWL game... it means that your character can be screwed up in no time! So if you got the option, pick it for PS3 - best community, no hackers.

Other than that, playing Throne of Bhaal and Civilization V for my Youtube serieseses...ses?

i know it may be too soon to tell or maybe you can't say anything atm, but what are we looking at as far as a acceptable solution to this legal dance that you guys at beamdog and overhaul are going through? are things looking bright or are we looking at a noober vs. Firekragg dituation and have just yet to see the meat chunks and fine red mist yet?

@cheesebelly is the pvp really that bad for pc that I should worry? I've been planning to get that when I see it on sale and don't want to be pissed off by hackers. Could I disable players invading my world?

Anyway, I've been playing sims with the new ep. At least maxis still makes some fun stuff, but at the same time it is really overpriced, no doubt EA's greed. I like all sorts of games though, so I could be all over the place.

I've gotten a hold of Planescape: Torment and Icewind Dale from gog.com, which if the first I've played of them.

I suppose some good came of this legal tomfoolery; I doubt I'd be playing these otherwise, at least not yet.
