Thank you but the issue isn't lack of availability it's the fact that the emulator doesn't run well on my computer. It'd be more convenient for me to buy a DS with a copy of the game (when I can afford it)
That link isn't for a PC emulator, it's for a Raspberry Pi setup. The Pi is an inexpensive computer (I got mine for $50) that's popular among the emulator community. A Raspberry Pi setup as a multi-game emulator is usually called a "RetroPie".

which pokémon games do you nuzlocke on?
I've tried Fire Red, Emerald and Crystal and failed.
I'm currently doing Blue and when I fail/win I will try Fire Red again.
I only own a Game Boy Emulator and a Real-Life GBA. No DS games, not that I'm unwilling to play them. I just don't have them.
