    Imoen backs away from the door as far as she can and shoots at one of the swords with her bow--assuming of course she won't skewer a party member by doing so.

    OOC: did i get off my heal on kivan? if not, i'm going to continue to try to cure him unles minsc gets hurt worse.

    oh, and go to work, deffinately go to work now. Good luck guys and will be waiting til i can get home to see what happened :)

    Coran keeps shooting and trying to avoid melee. He knows he's better with a bow than with a sword.

    Okay, Alora crawls down from Minsc's back and goes to the door to pick the lock, only to discover it is open. Minsc, Kivan and Aerie run for the door. In the fight to get there, Kivan takes 31 points, Minsc 16, and the two women are unharmed. Minsc destroys a shield, and Coran misses. Aerie takes 5 points when Imoen's shot hits her by accident.

    The Swords and Shields wait on the other side of the door, floating menacingly for a moment before going back to hanging on the walls. Beyond the door is a short, 20' of corridor leading to a 20' by 30' room. A small fountain on the Eastern wall pours and endless flow of water into a basin, where it slowly drains away. The room is a litter of shattered weapons, broken armor and other useless items. On the north wall is written, "YOU WHO DARED TO VIOLATE MY TOMB NOW PAY THE PRICE. STAY HERE AND DIE SLOWLY OF STARVATION, OR OPEN AND ENTER THE DOOR TO THE SOUTH WHERE YOUR QUICK DEATH AWAITS- WHICHEVER YOU CHOOSE, KNOW THAT I, ACERERAK THE ETERNAL, WATCH AND SCOFF AT YOUR PUNY EFFORTS AND ENJOY YOUR DEATH THROES."

    So what, the swords won't follow us in? In that case, we can just go back into the room and finish them one by one then retreat back into the room when necessary to heal and such until they are all destroyed.

    I'll cast cure light wounds on myself then. If my hp is above 50 I'll go back in and focus on one of the swords until my life drops below 50, then I'll retreat back into the room. Minsc can come with me, but Aerie and Alora can stay in the room.

    Actually, Coran and Imoen are in 25. 27 is the room with the swords and shields, and 27A is where Kivan, Alora, Aerie and Minsc are right now.

    Okay, so Coran, Shar-Teel and I are on the correct side of the stabby decorations. Minsc, Kivan, Alora, and Aerie are not. Finishing them one by one would be good, if that's at all possible.
