@Bjjorick asked me to possibly run another dungeon after this one to show a "normal" dungeon, rather than a deathtrap one. I floated the possibility of S3, Expedition to the Barrier Peaks (another ultra Old Skool module, but much less deathtrappy) but the Haunted Halls of Eveningstar might make another good choice. It's for levels 1-3, though.
OOC: I'd love to do a really low-level one. I'm 14th level in the current game and that is far higher than I ever managed back in my PnP days. It would be fun to go back to the days of having 6hp and having to find ways to survive.
OOC I'll second starting a adventure at level 1-3, be a nice change of pace, though I'd prefer new characters as opposed to BG 1-2 ones (My Favs always get picked before I get to)....
@Amardarial He also has slippers of Spiderclimbing. He can just walk up the wall and stand on the ceiling, above the fray. It's like an always on Spider Climb spell, no need to swallow a spider (and yes, that was the material component- ugh.)
@Permidion_Stark I got to 23rd level once. Once. It was a long, long struggle. My current home party are 13-15th.
@Amadarial The only reason I used the BG and BG2 characters is because it is impossible to roll dice on these boards. I could use Pregenerated characters from the module... but same problem, I suppose.
@Amardarial OOC I'd prefer to keep BG1-2 characters. That way we can hear the voices of the other characters in our heads and it gives us a basis for our interactions. For example, I know that Alora likes Edwin so it gave me something to work on. (Plus we'd need to move to another board if we weren't doing BG anymore)

Minsc climbs from his bedroll and stretches his aching limbs. The bones in his knee pop as he flexes it, he works the muscle back and forth with his hand a moment, at last feeling a bit more like himself. He stands to his full height, breathes deeply and smiles.
OOC: I`m totally up for a low level run after this. Although, if you want to let other people play, that`s okey too .
Ajantis wakes up and slowly gets ready to keep going, really really slowly. It`s as if each day the passes, the weight of this malevolent place will consume another piece of his soul.
" I can`t let this doubt be the end of me, or my friends. Just hold on Ajantis, for a little bit longer, this will end soon.
I miss Aerie... and even Edwin... " He whispered to himself.
@Alejandro If it makes you feel better, my ghost is probably angry and vengeful, while retaining all spellcasting abilities. You won't have to miss me long much.
*While Xzar sleeps Tiax begins undressing him, his deft gnomish fingers working wonders while the mad necromancer sleeps. With the spoils pilfered from the nut, he then plants the dagger on his fellow companion Alora, chuckling all the while.
He then swaps the Alora's bracers for Xzar's and looks back at Xzar, rubbing his hands and smiling. He begins to slide the cloak from around Xzar's sleeping shoulders when suddenly Xzar stirs and lets out a cry, "Mommy leave Daddy alone". Tiax pauses, smiles again and carries on removing the Cloak and then laying it on Alora.*
*Once the fun is over he glances over at Edwin's mutilated body, his face still screaming out in agony He chuckles to himself* Smart guy dies, but Tiax goes on to RULE!
@OOC *looks over at edwin, and a look of weariness comes upon her face, her voice carrying an unusual hint of darkness* You.... Of all the people to die, why must i be stuck alone here with YOU *she speaks the word as though a curse*. At least all of my friends are safe......I guess i should be glad it's your. *For the first time since this quest has started, she actually gives a true smile.*
@reedmilfam@ladyrhian as much as it pains me, it wouldn't make aerie happy if i did otherwise. DM, reedmilfam mentioned joining before i died, and he should really be ahead of me. I can't in good concious go before him.

OOC: @LadyRhian A way you can avoid using BG and BG2 characters is to allot a certain amount of points for ability scores for us to distribute. But using chars from BG and BG2 might be easier to keep track of all the stats.
@awong124 not just that, the devs and people working on the game have been coming in and reading this topic and seeing what we're saying and how we're playing the chars to see what it is that we love about them. i think playing with the bg/bg2 chars could help out the final game.
or i may just be full of it i live in a fantasy world deep inside my mind that's not much different from the world tiax so obviously lives in :P
@Bjjorick I don't think they can really change anything about the characters in the games anyway though. I'm not sure if they're even allowed to change or add any interactions between them. And adding new interactions would mean having to get the old voice actors back to do them.
@Bjjorick Maybe they can create the Tomb of Horrors module and add it to the game. If they can get the licensing for the Tomb of Horrors. They're allowed to add new content.
i would hope so, but i also wish they would make a quest where the final boss is the ummm very rare monster, only one in existance, he sleeps for like 100 years, wakes up and eats alot of people then sleeps again. He gets 3 attacks per round, and one of his attacks if he gets a decent roll, he bites you in half, no save (i think) and can fell anything easily. Starts with a T. I would soooo love if they put him in the game something that's a side quest, maybe in ToB.
