So since it's end november and we are already being overrun with advertisments about gifts, what are you planning on buying yourself / or what are you hoping you'll get ?

I'll be getting myself some IWD:EE ;)

@Anduin An amphibious sports plane is a little too ambitious, you could try for one of those remote control spy planes/helicopters instead.

I'm hoping to get cash, but I think I'll be getting a t-shirt or something lame like that and like @Anduin's pair of socks.

Malheuresement je ne peut que comprende Francais et mon francais est tres bof.

God, that was hard. I really need to practice my French more.

*patpat* It's okay. c: My German is almost non-existent. I originally wrote the rude way: "I want" rather than "I would like". n.n'
I hope nobody from France or Germany comes on this thread and sees us defiling their languages. :D
In my defence the GCSE French course is not brilliant(A. it's more about getting points than speaking the language and so the course is poorly designed B. half the class attempts to avoid doing work by any means necessary and C. it's hard to learn when some of the teachers have no idea what they're doing fortunately in year 10 and 11 i had a very good teacher)
At some point i need to relearn French, though preferably with the end goal of understanding the language rather than just passing an exam or two.

Peace and quiet? Christmas is a time for noise and celebration and board games! (and alcohol for young people!)
  • yes alcohol is what i need to survive that dreaded celebration. Be sure to be the most drunk person in the room.

I already got me a new LG G3, which is awesome. Probably nothing more for me, but I did buy the GF the new Asus Transformer Book, which seemed nice for her use.

    Edit to my earlier comment:
I'm hoping to get a hard copy of BGEE (pre-order in, but yet to arrive).
I'm getting myself a subscription to my local angling club (at £175 this represents a serious investment for me but does cover two of the best fishing rivers in England!).
