Another curiosity, if you don't mind. How much of a compulsive looter are you? Do you take everything, or just some things? Or maybe no things at all? This is a poll to see how people play.

Then I take gems and magical things.
Then I only take magical things.
DA games I pick up everything I can. In DAO I start getting inventory space as quick as I can from the merchant at Ostagar, as he has a cheap backpack upgrade that can be bought twice, once before and once after the journey into the wilds. in DAI I didn't want to put perks into my backpack, so I limited myself to the 60 starting space until late in the game where there were no more other perks I really wanted. If I don't have a store in the area yet then I would return to Skyhold with a full inventory after getting a new camp to return directly to my last point, or if I am forced into a need to return to camp anyway because of potions. If I ran out of space I got rid of the cheapest stuff. I would like to sell them, but I was not THAT worried about it.
in Elder Scrolls I generally don't loot at all. you get so much money in those games I don't feel the need to, and I like going from the cheap house to the big manor over a long playthrough rather than getting all the money for the best house right away. also not looting to sell means my inventory can go into things that I actually need. if I currently have a thief character, however, I will loot because that is a part of being a thief: stealing from people.
I always pick up *all* the Potions and Ammunition this world has to give (and there's very few ammo after you install Hard Times and SCS…), save for those useless few Potions and non-magical ammo I don't use.
But then I leave stuff that is completely unneeded, even for being sold (+1 weapons at the end of BG1/ToB, gems and that stuff in ToB and BG1 too) at that moment or totally useless (a non-magical quarterstaff) for that character build.
I also tend to leave quest items behind when I play solo… I can carry 4 Longsword, 3 Helmets and 7 Wands… But no quests items are allowed. But when I play with a party, I still have those Dog Bones from the de'Arnise Keep in ToB, same for the Metal Rod from Hexxat's quest and for unique items.
Or is it because its magical properties are poisonous to your kind @DJKajuru ...or should I call you by your real name.... DJKaroug
