The First Orc drives his sword into Alora with a double damage Critical, leaving her barely alive (-8) The second Orc does another double damage crit to Arkanis, leving him at -1.
After a moment, it's clea he isn't coming back. Aerie bandages the wounded. preventing them from dying. "I want revenge also," Duchess assures Anomen. "But we can't let your friends die, either." She puts a hand to her head, rubbing at her forehead. "We should find somewhere near here to yake shelter and heal our wounds. Surely they will be doing the same."
All that is left in the room is the Ruby sword, resting on the piece of black velvet. It seems to flicker with fire in the light of the candles, as if sparks of bright, malign intelligence were looking out of it.

"Shall we stay here, then?" Duchess asked, looking around.
OOC: Alora isn't going anywhere unless someone carries her, so I think she is voting to rest here (and she will no doubt pick up the sword as soon as she regains consciousness).
