So first hi to anyone reading, name is greg and I spent far too much of my life playing the original bg, so I'm not exactly new to it. I always enjoyed playing single class characters but recently I've been inclined to dual class, and mutli a bit as well. My question is what happens to hp when you dual? I had heard it wasn't supposed to change, but my fighter has about 130 or so, and I dual him up without loosing any, but if I try to export him it sets hp to a little over 50, I'm assuming this is a bug, as an aside I do have keeper EE, mostly for messing with race restrictions on multi and dual-classing.
Like I said though despite putting literally years of my life into the original game I have not actually tried to dual or multi class before.

What you experience has been documented on the forum: http://forums.beamdog.com/discussion/17512/dual-class-hp-decreased-upon-importing and http://forums.beamdog.com/discussion/24164/import-chars-lose-hp, http://forums.beamdog.com/discussion/17790/bug-importing-character-hp-values.
When you dual-class, you HPs stay intact. But it seems there has been a behavior when the imported dual-classed character has had her HPs levelled.
Anyway, this bug has been fixed in BG:EE version 1.2 and should have been fixed in BGII:EE version 1.3. http://forums.beamdog.com/discussion/33849/not-an-issue-losing-hitpoints-on-import. Make sure your games are of the latest version. @Gate70 or @elminster may confirm if this bug has been fixed in the 1.3 patch for BG2EE because I don't see it among the fixes http://www.beamdog.com/files/bg2ee/bgiiee_releasenotes.pdf?_ga=1.187386344.1909166294.1402382062
Anyway, you can change your HP with the EE-Keeper, available here: http://forums.beamdog.com/discussion/16497/ee-keeper-updated-to-v1-0-2
Edit. typo.
If you tried using the PLAY button when importing, give the CREATE button a go instead. Link has a few screenshots showing these two options.
Thanks

So much appreciated everyone, time to get to it.
