Not true at the moment. I have in the past but its the sort of thing I pick up every few months to see whats new.

True. And would love to know how you got over centipedes. I hated spiders but actually decided to learn more about them, challenging myself to catch them and identify them. Eventually, I found myself more fascinated by them than frightened and can usually manipulate their behavior rather easily now for capturing purposes. Instead of killing them, I set them free.
Our newer apartment gets centipedes kind of frequently though and I hate them. They're fast, deceptive (can play dead or sacrifice legs for escaping predators), can bite if cornered, and can crawl anywhere, always showing up at the worst of times. I can't bring myself to stand them. They're like something out of Alien. I don't mind millipedes at all though. They're kind of dopey and cute.
The next poster prefers Ridley Scott's Alien to James Cameron's Aliens.
True. It was the Atlantic Ocean. I also like the Gulf of Mexico, particularly swimming at sunset, which unfortunately is also feeding time for the beasties. This is why you need to strategically ensure that you're in the middle of a group of people, playing the odds that something will happen to someone on the perimeter before you.
The next poster fantasized about being a vampire at some point in life.
Trueish. I haven't been able to in years though. Left my gear in the back of a car that was towed because they thought it abandoned. It was a 93' Dodge Spirit, and I left it parked on the street because I was home for college and didn't want to drive it much (unless your parents were unorthodox, you didn't get your parents' leftovers in those days). I think we purchased it for about $500 IIRC. It had a problem with the transmission that needed fixed, but when it was towed, a cost-benefit analysis dictated to just let it go and move on. Never saw my fishing gear again (nor my music CDs) and haven't felt inclined to purchase the gear since. Although, when I go to the park and see people fishing, I do get a little nostalgic.

It went like this
(initially)
Holy crap a centipede. Yuk! Hopefully it just scurries away.
(today)
Holy crap a centipede. Well, guess its time to beat it to death with a broom, scoop up its remains, and throw them outside.
Admittedly its not the most heroic approach but it gets the job done.
Last night I had "Canadian" style pizza (mushrooms, pepperoni and bacon). So I think that qualifies
