Saying something without saying anything: We did not set up beta registration because we were ready to start beta testing, we set it up because beta registration was mentioned during the announcement video.
The game is not ready to Beta test yet... Alpha testing still taking place... But we have started the registration now so we can get right on it as soon as we are able!

@Cerevant - I looked at the form, and I note that there's no option for offering to beta-test on good old WinXP. The installed base of WinXP is diminishing, of course, but it's still quite a significant percentage of all PC users, no doubt including many of your customers. Are you not intending to test on XP?
@Gallowglass It is a form. It is not a projection, a policy statement, or a company commitment.
I'm sure if Beamdog had some lawyers hanging around with nothing to do, they would make me put a much larger and more detailed disclaimer. For now, lets just say - Don't try to read between the lines, cause there aint nothing there.
I wasn't really trying to speculate about wider policy, I was actually just wanting to know if there's any point applying to beta-test on WinXP. Would you be interested in a beta-tester for WinXP, or would it be a waste of time to apply?
I already applied for testing with my PC and now i realized i could borrow my fathers tablet for testing. Should i fill out a new form for the tablet? Or one with both tablet and PC?
Is there a way to update my application? I have some modding experience now and have learned quite a bit in a short time, whereas when I filed it I was totally green.
I believe that I promised @swit a spot as a beta tester.
I'm sure some kind of promise and exchange of services was arranged for our mutual beneficiaries, that at some point in time (past, present or future) such a statement was made and that contractually devolved as we are in rendering information in development of said development, I could voluntary help in the sector you are asking for, namely the reviewing and testing of aforementioned said material without prejudice, disclosure, distribution, dissemination or profanity in a regime requiring the highest standards of professionalism and conduct. My higher brain functions are yours.

Ok, how about I ask you a question and you can quote a ambassador Kosh for me? So:
Cahir: Well, can we expect a Siege of Dragonspear by the end of 2015?
or perhaps "Understanding is a three-edged sword." is more appropriate?
(I have a feeling which quote you are angling for, but I don't think you're going to get it .

That's all I can say about that.
Never mind about my question.
Means the beta hasn't started yet, and game takes at least another month to be released ?
...
Could you at least think about it @PhillipDaigle ...
