Tamoko is quite fine with letting Minsc lead. I guess she's taking Edwin's position with regards to Minsc' special role.

Xan thinks that Minsc should guard Edwin while he casts burning hands on the corpse, and then we should explore the basement to discover what makes the wailing sound. He's certain that whatever it is will kill us in some horrible manner, but it's better to face it now than have it at our backs.

It's a small fishing village. The local shrine's cleric is probably only level 1 or 2.

OOC: Perhaps I should cast doom on Minsc so that he might understand Xan's special outlook on life. 'Life... is as pointless as unkicked buttocks...le sigh'.

DM And people wonder why mixed alignment parties can be such a bad idea...

@Reedmilfam Your directions, oh great leader?
  • katastrophekatastrophe Member Posts: 404
@LadyRhian At least it ends up being humorous and perhaps even more interesting than a party with only one flavour to them. I know I'd be pretty bored if I didn't get to clash with other people every so often, if only for a laugh.

Well, you and @Communard seem to be the only ones here at the moment.

I think I'll be sleeping now actually, sorry :\. Hope we get a better turnout tomorrow.
  • LadyRhianLadyRhian Member Posts: 14,694
I'll be on after 3PM tomorrow. I have to work in the morning, 9-2.
  • katastrophekatastrophe Member Posts: 404
And I'll be on...to miss the majority of the action. Three cheers for me.

And I arrived just in time to miss everything. Stupid night classes today and all day classes tomorrow. Yoshimo can shoot the corpse with a flaming arrow from a distance, if that's what people want to do. He's got a bow if someone else has a lightable rag.

OOC - Sorry. I am SuperDad during the week with cooking, driving, tutoring and general butt-kicking for goodness!
  • LadyRhianLadyRhian Member Posts: 14,694
    That's okay, SuperDad. :)
  • reedmilfamreedmilfam Member Posts: 2,808
"Yes," Minsc told his hero friend, Yoshimo. "You can try this fire bow magic." Of course, he'd rather that the little hero focused more on important things, such as swords. Perhaps Boo would give ideas that would help Minsc show the way. Then, they could become quite heroical. Big hero and huge hero and Boo. Together. Butt-kicking for goodness... It was almost too happy a thought to contain in his big skull.

@LadyRhian - You meant 'yes, oh omnipresent authority figure'... I'm a big Jaheira fanboy :P

LOL. I am writing NPCs for romances over in the female-female romance thread. So far my Male Cleric of Gond is good, but everyone seems to like my female Paladin.
  • Awong124Awong124 Member Posts: 2,642
I like the female paladin first of all because she's a woman. And second she loves cats. But you crushed my hopes by making her lesbian and not bi :(
  • LadyRhianLadyRhian Member Posts: 14,694
    Try my female gypsy-bard. :)
  • LadyRhianLadyRhian Member Posts: 14,694
Or my female elven mage. Or female human priestess of Loviatar.
  • Awong124Awong124 Member Posts: 2,642
Well the thing about the paladin that did it for me was the thing about cats, that's what made her special for me.

The gypsy's alright because she's hot. You made the elven mage lesbo as well, so that's out. And the priestess of loviatar isn't my type. Despite how I rp Kivan, I personally have no interest whatsoever in S&M, it just makes her seem kind of psycho.
  • LadyRhianLadyRhian Member Posts: 14,694
Well, she's an evil NPC, but she doesn't like hurting kids, so she's not totally evil.
  • reedmilfamreedmilfam Member Posts: 2,808
I'm completely avoiding that thread. Maybe NBP, one of my favorite members of the threads, will take the soapbox over there. If not, I'm certain there is more troll than I can stand. Random thoughts, I know.

    Diary Entry:

Life is looking up. I have a new room on this ship, Lady del'Twar is quite beautiful, the gems, the gold, the velvets. Loooks like only a couple more weeks on this ship and I may not even need to take care of Lady Silvershield. The captain worries me though. It's not like I killed my last "love", she's just come down all kind of ill. The rest of the guests aboard assume I was her son all along now (love those velvets.) Tonight I feast at the captains table.

Oh my, looks like I wrote a pun above, that would be most unfortunate if people saw.

  • Awong124Awong124 Member Posts: 2,642
    I'm kind of here.
  • LadyRhianLadyRhian Member Posts: 14,694

Im here happily reading, but this does you no good.

(edit) is this the time you usually play?
  • LadyRhianLadyRhian Member Posts: 14,694
Well, I work an irregular schedule, because I work in a library. I work Wednesdays 4-9, Thursdays 9-2 and Fridays 1-5 and then every other Saturday all day,
