I'm not a huge fan of gameplay content creators, as it's just not my bag. If you've seen one one-shot or no-damage challenge, you've seen them all. The basic strategies for the bosses don't differ all that much, it's just a matter of how long you can execute those moves without making a mistake to beat them. PvP isn't my bag. So, I stick to lore, mostly. This guy put out some real good stuff:
@jjstraka34@BelleSorciere Yeah I was referring to gameplay content creators. My favourite lore channel is Hawkshaw. They have a couple of really amazing hour long vids.
Perhaps THE ultimate Dark Souls accomplishment, a back to back to back no-hit run of the entire trilogy, clocking in at 10 hrs. Apparently this guy has had MANY close calls in the last 12 months, including once losing it halfway through the Soul of Cinder after completing 99% of the run. This time, to break up the monotony, he played the games out of order, but I don't think that reduces the accomplishment at all. Hard not to feel great for this guy, as the emotion at the end of this seems very genuine:
In other news, my gaming laptop is finally on the way. Not a total beast, but armed with a full GTX 1060, fully capable of pushing 60 fps on most anything at high settings on 1080p. Pretty stoked.
I only really watched the last fights of each thus far, but even Nashandra, who many people consider by far the easiest end-boss of the base games, becomes the trickiest in a no-hit run, because you have to fight her far enough away from her curse orbs to take no damage from them.
Apparently, up next is what the streaming community is calling the "God Run", which is Demon's Souls, Dark Souls 1-3 AND Bloodborne, all 5 in a row, no hits.
I don't think Throne Watcher and Defender get enough play as a legitimately challenging boss battle. No, they aren't iconic like Ornstein and Smough, but I had just as tough a time with them when I beat Dark Souls 2.
I just booted up DS3 for the first time in months. Then realized I lost all my progress again "SSD died awhile ago." Why doesn't this game have cloud saves
Guess it's time to start a new playthrough again...
So people have had the chance to play the remaster, and lots of people are saying the remaster's graphics are worse than the original's. Lots of discussion of this on the Dark Souls reddit.

I would assume this means worse than the original heavily modded with HD textures. The base PC version is basically unplayable without DSfix, and the original console versions will always be broken in Blighttown.
Actually, I do think people are saying it's worse than the vanilla game. Like the screenshot comparisons I saw were between the XBox 360 and the PS4 Pro.
everything got a coat of shiney and the lights got boosted
maybe people are being a bit misleading, since the "graphics" are probably better on any actual measurement of whatever "graphics" are, but they do seem to clash with the intended atmosphere

On my TV, messages are bright glowing blue bubbling patches.
I'd blame HDR but I don't think Bloodborne has any HDR in it.
The best editing work on YouTube and the best accent as well
