@Kilivitz Sorry for the late reply Kilivitz - didn't notice your comment.
You're half correct - Entirely Keanu Reeves. Basically a high resolution image of Keanu from his 'Point Break' days. Altered jawline, colour and remodeled the eyes and hair.
Original Photograph taken from fanpop - photographer unknown.
I keep trying to post a screen shot, does anyone know how to do that with Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition?
pretty sure press the prtscr key it outputs the screenshot in some folder.. not sure which
I have screen shots in my ScrnShot folder that I would like to post here. Yet if I select them and right click Copy then I still can't find the way to Paste them on this forum. I'd really appreciate it if you or @GandalfPortraitGuy or someone could let me know what I'm probably missing.

Instead of just right clicking, click the "Attach a file" button.
This is probably a better thread to post the pictures I've been using in my play through. Jolly co-operation for all! I always like the idea of the PC to be faceless (other than one of my first runs through the game which I used Kevin Sorbo as Hercules for my fighter hah)
Incidentally, I wanted to thank you for offering me help earlier in the thread for posting portraits and screen shots. Here is a shot of a pretty powerful goodie from my campaign.

You're welcome sir.:) I take it you're not a min/maxer? And yes, he's going to make Sarevok look like a chimp once he's done with Shadows of Amn.
Hey everyone, I'm not dead! Just still stuck with the challenges. They keep coming, and I keep failing to resist them. To pretend that I still contribute to my own thread, I bring you the crop of the latest challenge: Melicamp, when you first meet him and later (if he's lucky).
And little Albert and his puppy:
I also have captain Scar, but I'm working on a few corrections (most notably of his age), so that one will be up later.
@GandalfPortraitGuy wow, I completely forgot about this guy. He does make a great evil Bhaalspawn, that's for sure. ... Now I feel the need to see 'Willow' again. O_o.
Okay, finished tinkering with Scar. Since my first try turned out much too young, I figured I might as well have two version of my beloved captain - as a fresh faced recruit, and years later, after he got his rank and nickname. You can play the 'spot the difference' game with this one. ;P
The blue thing on his chest is a badge with a Flaming Fist crest. I don't care what (if anything) canon says on the matter - to me Scar is a copper, and every copper needs a badge. The crest comes from Baldur wiki, and I don't know if it's at all accurate, but hey, it's the thought that counts, right? :P As you can see, it gathered some dings over the years. The armor looks like new, since I figure that man of Scar's rank would have people keeping his gear in top shape. (Or, more accurately, I was too tired to add dents and rust spots).
@Syntia13. The scar is the obvious starting point; deeper laugh lines around mouth, higher hairline, some gray hairs, some deeper wrinkles in neck and crows' feet around the eyes. Growing bags below the eyes. Some more beard. But still a young man, about 10 years older. The real characteristic that often shows up with age, would be a little more overall weight. That would be harder to handle in a portrait.
@franco You got almost all of them. There are also heavier eyelids, slightly milkier eyes, and he lost the very tip of his ear when he got that scar. real characteristic that often shows up with age, would be a little more overall weight *sigh* Don't I know it... *sadly pokes her stomach* Maybe Scar is one of those lucky guys who get thin and wiry with age? And of course his line of work presents plenty of opportunities for exercise. ;P Just 10 years, you say? That's no good, I was aiming for something close to '20 - 40' transition. Still, this is the best I can do at this point of time. Maybe in another year I'll be able to capture the aging process better.
And now returning to the original purpose of this thread, I present you modified Kagain. Mostly just removing the sparkles and changing some colors. I think I now know where I went wrong with Montaron, the method I used here looks much better IMO.
Like I said many times before, I'm kind of addicted to all the art contests going on here on the board. The worst part is, the contests end, but my desire to make entries does not go away. The only reasonable thing to do is to go with it, and draw till my eyes melt and my hands fall off. ;P Hopefully I'll run out of subjects eventually. I've decided that after a contest end, I won't post relevant pictures to it anymore, and stuff them in here instead. The only exception is the 'gender-swap contest', (and its older brother 'girdle of gender change challenge') - those pictures will be kept separately, so as to not gross out people who find them gross.
Today I bring you Yoshimo in Ust Natha glamour. Yes, I know that
Yoshimo is not allowed into the city
but his face is very well suited for this disguise, and I wanted to see him as drow. As a bonus you get a picture of cleanly shaved bounty hunter.
Another 'return to basis' re-do. Viconia, the lovable evil cleric, who slaughters her enemies with a beatific smile on her lips. ;P Original to the left, simple recolor in the middle, recolor with facial features tweaked to the right. ... ok, 'simple recolor' is inaccurate. I couldn't figure out what that thing between Vici's arm and head was, so in the end I removed it, and added more ear and hair in its place. (Since @Metalloman explained below what that was, I put it back in). I also did my best to remove the pitch black shadows. The result is thus:
@Syntia13: Good work with Viconia, really! About the Unidentified Oblect I think that should be some sort of soft pauldron, maybe hard leather, surely a really movable one, just not plate.
As you can see over the mail, between that thing and the pectoral there's a connection.

@Syntia13 Kagain's Axe and Helmet always kind of blended in together and looked like one thing originally. It's easier to notice the separation in your modification. Good job.
In BG Kagain always looked like a good guy, every time I looked at his portrait, he has not an EVIL face, he also seems that he's smiling benevolently, don't you all think?

Oh, I see! I guess I'd better put it back, then. Thanks for clarification.
@Syntia13: Any way to make the face look more like the BG2 model's face with that BG1 action pose?
Interesting question. The answer is, I don't know. I'll have to try and see how it goes.
About looking evil, I always have a problem with that. How DO you recognize evilness on one's face? Can't be a solemn/brooding look - just look at Richard Wilkins III or Angelus - they are as evil as they come, and they look bloody happy almost all the time. :P (Sorry for the out-there examples, I'm on a Buffy/AtS kick at the moment).
Anyway, there's evil, and then there's evil. Kagain strikes me as a moderate, introverted kind of evil. He's very self-centered, willing to do anything, good or bad, if there's something in it for him, but he doesn't actively go out and do evil deeds (nor good ones, obviously). Remember how you meet him - he's running his small business, he doesn't set neighbors on fire or steal from them; he wants to go searching for a missing person because it benefits him, but gives up very quickly when it seems like it would be too much trouble. I imagine he'd walk right pass a man dying on the street, unless the man promised a reward for helping him. It's that quiet, everyday kind of evil, which I find nearly impossible to show on a portrait.
On a side note - I find it amusing that Viconia doesn't look even the tiniest bit cruel or malicious in her BG2 portrait, and yet no one ever complained that she doesn't look evil enough. :P (Too human or too blue, yes, but never not evil enough. I guess being a pretty female is evilness enough?

Kudos points to those that can guess who my assassin portrait is...
This photo, you could make in Jaheira style:
Here he is, I forgot to insert the image.

Today I bring you Yoshimo in Ust Natha glamour. Yes, I know that
Yoshimo was also tricked into donning the infamous cursed girdle - the effects can be seen here: http://forum.baldursgate.com/discussion/comment/309957/#Comment_309957
