I don't think people realize how long it takes to actually create a new setting from scratch.

Meh, I've done it. It aint rocket science (which I have also done). It wouldn't be hard to find a writer who had a setting already made and ready to go.

Niche settings like Ravenloft are fine but limiting, you can only have one sort of adventure.

    lolwut

    Are you kidding?...

Please not Ravenloft. Vampires are so so boring and tacky.

I think you're confusing Vampires with twilight.

I already felt this way about vampires years before Twilight was a thing. The entire aesthetic is tacky and overdone.
The ones in BG2 are only tolerable because they exchanged the gaudy wannabe goth style for ancient egyptian style.

I don't know who that is, but anything but vampires.

Vampires are not the only monsters in Ravenloft. There are also Werewolves, Dread Golems, Carrionettes, Doppelganger Plants, Hags, Evil Treant, Reavers (Gillmen) and various zombies.

I would LOVE a fey themed adventure involving hags!

Kickstarters haven't done as well recently. Wasteland 3 and Pillars of Eternity 2 had fewer backers than the previous games.

Because western crpgs are deader than disco.

Oh, boy... people sure have a sense of humor around here...

The most recent Ravenloft crpg was set in the desert. Not a vampire in sight.

Well, if they do end up doing Ravenloft, it's gonna be about Stradh or at least heavily feature him, because that is what WotC has been pushing since last year, both in the comics and their big marketing campaign for the Curse of Stradh module. (Fun fact: Minsc and Boo got to canonically fight Stradh.)

But I will gladly be proven wrong though.

Which is why it would be a good idea to forget about the licence and keep Hasbro out of it.

The only truly Fey themed game I can recall is. uh, oh shoot what was it called? It had two protagonists, one was an occult reporter and the other was, just some person? You actually entered he realm of spirits and captured them kinda like Pokemon. It was for ps3 and kind of a cult hit, but most people thought it was meh.

A football (soccer) match lasts 90 minutes. The half time break can be up to 15 minutes, so a maximum of 105 minutes, not 2 hours.

The half-time break is 15 minutes long - 7 minutes of commercials, 1 minute of talk about the first half, and 7 minutes of commercials.

Y'all forgetting the inevitable overtime. And sometimes the golden goal. And I hate myself for knowing those.

Great time for a visit to the throne with today's newspaper (or more likely your phone)!

I recommend the newspaper. At least in this house. Where no one else replaces the roll of paper. I mean, the phone just doesn’t ... Anyway.

Its a shame that i can't like a comment more than once.

Zelda isn't really fey though. Having pointy eared people in it does not mean fey.

You know, there is a “30 Rock” joke here, but I can’t quite get to it.
