    Given the choice between the two, I'd have to say Tarnesh. Since people who survive him will think of him as the weakest mage they ever fought, and people who die against him will think of him as the most powerful.

    I am the strongest mage you will ever meet! -> He can insta-kill you with his uber-empowerd magickz in candlekeep.
    I am the weakest mage you will ever meet! -> Being said to be high level, he's actually way too weak of a mage
    I am like the smartest person in your life! -> He's tutored you your enitre life and is very academic and educated.
    I am really, really, really stupid! -> in the ambush battle he makes pretty much every mistake he could have made! As

    I have no idea about this one. 2 of the 4 clues make me think about yaga-shura, but the other 2 are the opposite. Someone clever have to swoop in here and guess.

    @Montresor_SP Correct!
    1) The riddle in Suldanessellar in the House of the Talisman goes "Corellan, Rillifane, Water, Tree of life, Suldanessellar." So Rillifane is second of 5.
    2) Water apparently comes from Rillifane as well, per the riddle.
    3) The Elven warriors kills a Balor (?) by invoking Rillifane's power.
    4) Rillifane really doesn't like the temple being invaded.
    5) You still have to return 3 items to him first before his avatar is activated.
