So here is a general question... you're playing a dwarf... after a generous act where you tell a person to keep the reward and use it for rebuilding his life this person tells you his "faith in humanity" is restored... Do you

1) get offended
2) go get a priest this guy certainly has problems with his vision...
3) something else...

    3) Ponder if there's a good and inclusive alternative. Faith in humanoids? Faith in bipedalism? Faith in vertebrate?

I'd just roll my eyes and think humans are an anthropocentric bag of dicks.

I mean it's annoying but I'm not sure it's that annoying.

    3) Realize I must need to gain some weight. There's nothing worse than being mistaken for a small human!

    3) Get naked. Nothing else, just full-on nudity.

Since the op never stated whether it was a male or female dwarf I was just wondering how much hair a bearded female dwarf would have everywhere else. Not sure I would want to know...

But don't you just love plaits?

    *Ahem*

I would state my gnome hood. I would reply along the lines of

Humanity failed you. It was gnomity that saved the day. You remember that... GNOMITY. Because THAT is a word.

    Or Dwarvity in this case...

    ...

We all know elves are uppity, this is actually the elf version of humanity. Uppity. You see elves described as uppity all the time... They are just showing there selfishness.

    Faith in SOCIETY.

That's the word this person should have used.

    Dwarven or human society?

Which ever society the two characters were in at the time.

Society: the aggregate of people living together in a more or less ordered community

But 'primate' would fit. Although if anybody in BG used that term they'd be executed for being a doppelganger!

Why not sentient being... this way you cover mammals, reptiles, constructs, undead, and any other thing that can think... :)
