"I'll go. " Vaga says rubbing a small bump on his head, still a bit grumpy over Nanna hitting him.
"Come, ogre. Lead the way, I will follow close behind. If you try anything, I will not be mercyful, but if you speak true, I will see to it you are set free."
“We know where the hut is now,” says Guston. “I suggest we leave and come back when we’re done. That way we won’t feel rushed and can look for traps more carefully.”
“Right,” says Guston’s voice comes from the opposite direction that Anduwoman was looking. “The consensus seems pretty clear. Sorry, Fiora... I tried to be good.
“Hmm... it seems to me that this rune on the doorway is likely some sort of trap,” he says. “Anduin? What do you make of it? It kind of reminds me of runes the highpriests of Chauntea would use when trying to protect the stores of grain... and food... from thieves.” His voice takes on a distant, guilty quality as he remembers that he WAS that thief and knew just how to bypass Chauntean runes.
With that he sees if there is any way to disarm it, and if he can find one, he tries to disarm it.
"Thank you, but I'm sorry. I cannot leave someone helpless and in peril. Our group is more able to protect themselves. I must go.
*Fiora dashes back to Harvey as fast as safely possible. She shudders to think what could happen if the Hag comes for the woman. Then shudders again at the thought of the hag coming for her friends*
"Butter! Are you nearby!?"
Uh oh. Looks like FIora's code has run foul of the party for the first time. If I can't get back in time, Fiora will ask Butter if he can help watch over the party. She will stand guard while Harvey breaks the curse, then ask for his assistance to get rid of the Hag, so that revenge cannot be sought.
“Fiora...! Wait!” Calls Guston, but the halfling Paladin is already gone. “Curses and boils!” His expression ruffles in confusion as a boil pops.
“I suppose I should be grateful... it’s that tender-heartedness of hers that got me off the street.
“And then, here, invisible, with a boy floating over me, as I try to break into a hag’s cottage with a mummified(?) gnome granny-thing...” he adds with a sort of angry mutter at being separated from his friend, Fiora.

"... and a naked monk!" Vaga, surprisingly, seem to have finally nailed a properly delivered joke. Even a blind smith sometimes manages to hit the anvil, as the old dwarven saying goes.
"Let us hurry and not tarry, so we can quickly join Fiora. "
Guys, Vaga would never do it, but if you force the ogre in first.. you know traps and prisoners is a golden combo.. just saying
Ignatius hovers and follows Fiora to where Harvey is. In any case, destroying the eye is the first priority. He also has another thought in his mind. A suspicion, rather, for Harvey, benevolent as he is, works for a certain orc king. Does he want the eye to really destroy it, or does he have other motives? In any case, Ignatius thinks that it would be better to partially destroy the eye himself, in order to render it incapable of being used anyway, and then give it to Harvey for its complete destruction, if that is what he really intends to do.
Ignatius reaches Fiora and calls out,
"Ho there friend, your attention I beckon, For things are often really hard to reckon. Our friend, the druid, wants to have the eye, To destroy it, and I hope it isn't a lie.
But in any case, we shouldn't be tricked, And what if his allegiance suddenly flicked? So I say we destroy the eye, at least partially, To make it unusable, if use it has any.
And whom he serves we mustn't forget, As prevention is better than a cure too late."
Guston starts poking at the rune, trying to figure out how disarm it. As he does so, he sees the rune spark and disappear, just before a bolt of lightning arcs from the doorway into him.
Guston: Reflex save: 14+6=20
Guston manages to pull back before the bolt fully strikes him. It doesn’t matter, however, as he still takes 16 damage, and falls unconscious.
"Thank you, but I'm sorry. I cannot leave someone helpless and in peril. Our group is more able to protect themselves. I must go.

Fiora hears the sound of a dog barking, as Butter easily catches up to her.
"I hear you Ignatius, but I can't risk abandoning an innocent. Harvey is the only one who knows how to break such a curse."
*Fiora's expression lightens cinsiderably when she hears Butter*
"Butter! I need your help. Can you go tell your companion that I have the eye and am on my way? I'd also really appreciate it if you could watch over my companions afterdelivering my message."
*Fiora pats Butter on the head while running alonside him*

Ignatius tries to reason with Fiora:
"Our companions are capable and armed well, And should be able to deal whatever on them befell. Since our ultimate aim is having the eye destroyed, It won't differ if we tamper it, and render its (ab)use void."
With the electrical blast, every one of Guston’s boils exploded into a nasty mess of fried puss. Now his face looks like a wet moon littered with asteroid impacts.
He flies back, coughing and spluttering from the pain and the smell. “Gah!!”
I’m pretty sure I almost died. I’ve only got like 28hp, and I took 10 points of damage from the hag. I’m at 2hp!
As Anduwoman works his unsourced divine magic on him, some of the burn marks on his body heal. “Thank you, Anduin.”
Guston gets back up and stubbornly searches for traps again.
"What do you know, Ogre? You are hesitating for a reason. I am a patient man, and benevolent, to those that deserve it. I would never strike down an ogre for hatred or from pure aggression. But if that same ogre tricked my friends here into a trap, my vengeance would be harsher than the wrath of Abbathor! Speak up now or you will be the first through that door, mark my word. "
The ogre continues to shake his head, as he miraculously shakes off the spell. “The lady will know if I go in!” he stammers. “She’ll find me and kill me!”

*Fiora turns to Femduin*
"If everyone else wants to go treasure hunting, give me the eye, I'll get it backa and break the curse. We cannot leave that poor woman suffering."
*FIora gestures to the eye*
Look missy and disembodied smarty voice.
*Anduin gives a stern look at where she thinks Guston is.*
We shan't be more than a few moments. I need to stay here and make better any boo-boo's my childybaby earns stealing from granny...
*Anduin tosses the eye to Fiora.*
We may need your help still. Give us a few moments more and if all goes well we will be with you...
*Anduin turns to look at the hut.*
And if it goes wrong... We can run away together...
“I’ll check for traps then.”
Guston searches the door to the house, and notices a small rune carved into the doorway.
His voice takes on a distant, guilty quality as he remembers that he WAS that thief and knew just how to bypass Chauntean runes.

Oh deary, oh deary…

Guston looks around again, but he doesn’t notice anything that looks like a trap.
Greed is a dangerous liability.
*Anduin casts charm on Ogre.*
If I succeed I will compulse the Ogre to go in the hut first.
