    I actually think I made the same typo too, though I don't recall if on purpose or by accident.

    Mad Dog or Mad God. Hot Dog! Dog Mad. Mod Dag. Mod Dog. Good Dog. Bad God.

    Perhaps the god got mad thinking about a dog. It can be all very confusing ...
