Thank all of you so much! The Red Chimera group has enough playtesters and now the primary bottleneck is voice acting. We have voice actors offering their talents for 4 of the 10 NPCs and are looking for new voice actors to complete the rest.
:O!!! i donno whats the " process " for the voice acting, but, if it is just " read " lines, record them and send them somewhere, count with me :x
I can do both, famale and male voices :E
It's still alive. We're actually very close to release; all we need is to complete the NPCs by giving all of them new portraits and voice acting.
If you have need of any voice actors I would be happy to provide some work for free. I have a professional setup and can do a range of voices. Just shoot me an E-mail!
In vanilla game if there is a paladin in the party it is not possible to talk to yuan-ti in temple in Chult (number of worn robes counter is 5), so all the yuan-ti in the temple are hostile. Is this issue addressed somehow in ee?

Yes. If there is a paladin in the party, they can stay at the entrance and the rest of the party, if they're wearing robes, can talk to the yuan-ti even if the paladin isn't wearing a robe.
My iwd2ee game crashes the moment it tries to load the Fell Wood area from the Wandering Village area of Chapter 3. Either it freezes on the load screen or it crashes with "assertion failed". I have the mods Ease of use, Light of Selune, the IWD2 NPCs, the ammo belts.
ok. It was the Light of Selune Mod. currently not compatible with IWD2ee. I only downloaded the mod option. Must be the items in that area or a specific character added there that the dlg or dll script isn't compatible with. Perhaps the items and merchants in the LOS mod can be extracted and made compatible with IWD2ee. It did say "installed with warnings" when installed.
Monks: Monks now get much faster and more accurate unarmed attacks, and their attack damage progresses more logically. Their base damage caps at 1d8, but they gain more attacks per round than other classes, eventually becoming able to attack more than five times per round.
Won't this SEVERLY nerf the Monks Unarmed Damage? In Icewind Dale 2 at level 26 the Monk would get 4 attacks per round doing 2-30 + what ever bonuses you have to damage.

No, because monks also get more attacks per round. A level 26 monk in IWD2EE can make 10 unarmed attacks per round without any buffs. It's actually 1d8+5 damage (9.5 on average) at that level, with a +5 attack bonus, while the original damage at that level was 1d20 + 1d10 (16 on average), with no attack bonus. So the fact that the IWD2EE monk will have more than twice as many attacks per round as the vanilla IWD2 monk at that level WILL make up for the lower damage.

I'm curious how's the progress going? It's been 3 years since the initial post i think. Is this mod close to be finished? Thanks

Yes. If there is a paladin in the party, they can stay at the entrance and the rest of the party, if they're wearing robes, can talk to the yuan-ti even if the paladin isn't wearing a robe.
Is there any way to support the mod effort?
i don't understand, could you just use those old NPC portraits and voice files in origin icewind dale 2?
