Forks not usable by priests. So... how do they eat? With bare hands?

Actually spoon is edgier than chopstick, isn't it?

I feel as though there is something I am missing. Some link that makes all this make some sense that I'm not seeing.

    So... chopsticks?

In 2E, priests can't use sharp/pointy weapons for combat. They could still use the fork for ceremonial purposes.

chop - stick suggests the sticks are very edgy.

Huh, I guess I never thought of it that way.

But considering the entire tavern will go hostile if you're caught pick pocketing one person, I think that it's safe to say that causing any trouble would result in your demise.

These barkeeps will punish troublemakers to the fullest extent of their wrath.

    Gorion Logic:

Gorion's ward picks a pocket in Candlekeep, Gorion insta-kills him with a high-level spell.

Sarevok & Co assault Gorion and his ward outside Candlekeep, Gorion spams puny magic missiles.

Head canon: Gorion can't cast high-level spells. He just knows how to activate the ancient anti-thieving wards in Candlekeep and is horrified when it turns out how over the top and lethal they are.

    I love this!

    Planescape: Torment logic:

Ei-Vene in the mortuary is deaf; however if Morte uses the Litany of Curses on her, she hears him and turns hostile.
Vaxis (the fake Zombie) can hear and he is not undead; however the Litany of Curses does NOT work on him.

    Edit: Spoilered.

    I've been told.

I've played it for about 20 minutes, but I lost interest in favor of the other games. I own it though and will get around to playing it eventually.

    Mind flayer logic:

A community of brain-eating monsters is led by a giant brain.

I was going to make a joke that it would be like a community of dogs that worship the Great Bacon. But that actually made more sense.

As others have pointed out, it's a giant amalgamation of Mind Flayer brains in a jar.

It's basically the equivalent of a town being led by a giant zombie brain made of human flesh.

Hello, welcome to Cityville, would you like to meet our mayor?
