When skipping the cutscene in the Fortress, the characters are transported to the place where Sherinkal and Gutma are talking

Playing as Assassin is super fun now. Please don't nerf the Use Magic Devices.

Bug (3.4.0): - In the Fields of Slaughter, if you use Wings of Flight, the cutscene with the Lich will not activate. The fight will begin immediately, and the elf with the bottle of holy water will not die before the fight.

Just installed IWD2 and the EE expansion mod.
I made a Battleguard of Tempus cleric.
    My domain spell is Bless.
Even after resting, when I go to cast it it is grayed out with the mouse-over message:
    "Bless Beyond Cleric Casting Ability"
I've played the original IWD2 many times with the same type of character and I've never had this problem.

    Thanks.

Hi, is there any news about a possible Linux release? Or is it already possible to play the game through Wine/Lutris/other?

There's some people using Lutris and/or Wine now, and say it works pretty well. If you need assistance, I'd recommend joining the Discord server since it's pretty active for help on things like this.

It does work on WINE. Perfectly I may say. Only odd thing is that a few releases ago rendering got really laggy. Could be WINE itself to be honest, but I have the game in a static bottle. Have to up the frame updates to 58 for it to be "smooth".

How do you do that? I just updated the Mod on Steam Deck and now the animations are pretty laggy and wondering if that's what you experienced?

I use the GOG version. The game has a configuration interface that lets you change some stuff (Config.exe and it should be inside the game's install folder). Among them the "AI" updates of the game (which is really just the fps it runs on). Default is 30 and I used to set it at 40 for a smooth game. But now anything between 30 and 57 has this supper laggy feeling. 60 is too fast and makes everything run twice the speed.

Ah I should be able to do that I've got the GOG version too and running it through heroic. Thank you!

Edit* yea that helps. Set it to 58 and its a lot smoother, swear it was smooth like this on my previous install but I never tweak these settings. Still a bit choppy on Steam Deck at points maybe when a good bunch of characters and effects are on screen but absolutely playable.

Can someone that has played the entire game (once normally and then a second time on HoF with the same party) help me with a choice during install??

For me the worst part about this game used to be level squatting. This is why I did not play it in the past. The idea that I need to do this to reach max lvl was repulsive. But this has been fixed in EE looks like. However there are 2 experience options with 2 suboptions each during the install. I don't know what combination to pick. I want to be max level around 75% into HoF with full party of 6, no level squatting.

I'm hoping someone is on this thread that can help. There is a bug that I cannot seem to get past: I cannot leave the Magma Chamber no matter what I do. I understand EE eliminated the loops so the boat guy takes me right to the fight. I kill Izbelah and get the queue to get the hell out of there and go to the Fields of Slaughter. The boat guy asks me if I want to go to the Fields of Slaughter but takes me back to the entrance where I cannot get over the ledge and exit. Party wipes due to the earthquakes/whatever. I actually started a completely fresh game (as opposed to a previous save) and I'm back at the same problem. help!
