Quayle? Not a perfect fit but in the same register as Tiax at least and he do think he is very smart (but seem to act and say pretty stupid things even if he has 17 INT). He also hates druids which could be clue number 1, though it is farfetched. About living forever, I dunno. Even if he dies in BG1 he still lives in BG2, so that could be it, but I doubt it.
