184. Instead of memorizing Fireball, Gorion uses Invisibility 10' Radius to conceal himself and Charname, effortlessly bypassing Sarevok's ambush and making it to the Friendly Arm, where he stomps on the lower-level mage waiting there and then explains everything.
One of the things I've often noticed the not happening of is cannon fire and blunderbusses, even though there is advanced artillery on the Werewolf Island, from the days of Balduran.
Not fired with gunpowder. The cannons fire using dwarven runes. But the dwarven crew died ages ago, so they are now just ornaments. The towers you see were made as part of their last stand. As they were of dwarven-make, they have lasted to this day.
