@Kazuga - add these lines to your "My Docs/Baldur's Gate - Enhanced Edition\Baldur.ini"
    'Graphics', 'Scale UI', '0',
This will get your non-scaled graphics.

haha thank you, but little late. I find it myself ;) But the problem is that all windows than non-scaled. And that is little bit ugly.

@Jalily - I appreciate your help very much. Did you see the previous comments @Kazuga is claiming this issue is due to people who have the illegal/pirated version of the game. I guess I just need to know if everyone is suppose to have the same folder structure "Your BGEE Install Dir\Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition\Data\00766". Thanks.

@Kazuga - ugly? hmm, ok. I guess its personal preference...

@Magevil If you install through the Beamdog client, the path looks like this: C:\Program Files (x86)\BeamDog\Games\00766\

Otherwise, it's just as you've said. The 00766 folder is always supposed to be there.

I'm not sure that's correct. I have the 00766 folder, the override inside it didn't work. Putting the override in the root did work. I followed the install steps for Shadowkeeper, placing it in the 00766 folder, and it worked. Likewise BG2 Tweaks v11 worked. Perhaps I'll try downloading this onto my parent's computer and seeing if the same behaviour occurs there.

    @Jalily @Magevil

I would suggest that the people who dont have the 00766 folder are playing pirated copies.

@Cyph - please do and let us know.

@Jalily - Thank you. Just to clarify:

Beamdog client install path is: C:\Program Files (x86)\BeamDog\Games\00766\

BGEE Standard Install path is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition\Data\00766

The next question at hand is why do some people need to have the override folder in different locations? Some need to have the override folder in root directory and some need it in the 00766 folder. Thanks again!

@Kazuga Yeah - this is not due to the mod but due to the design of the game. Ive heard that overhaul may remedy this in a future patch.

I'm at work but I wish I wasn't so I could try it out; maybe the difference is between default installs or custom install paths? I'm using a custom install path.

Regarding Future Updates: I will be releasing a small update (BETA 5.5??) before Christmas that will fix a few small issues with BETA 5 including the scroll bars on the Archaic Custom Inventory and other minor things. I will also include an updated/optimized version of the Save/Load Screen and new Map, Mage Book and Priest Scroll Screens. After this I will be taking a small break for the holidays and you can expect to see BETA 6 sometime in early 2013. Thanks for all your feedback and continued support of Archaic GUI.

Let me know what screens/features you'd like to see in BETA 6?

Also I'd love to see some images/artwork that you think would work well for start screens/inventory.

thanks for the heads up ! I'll keep an eye around for usable pictures (I should have some stored somewhere among my hard drives).

I just woke up (France timezone ^^) so I forgot some of the suggestions I had while playing last night but I'm pretty sure I put them on a .txt file somewhere xD

I'll get back to you on that !

Silver buttons and all screens recolored. For me that would be finished job. Rest updates would regard only cosmetical changes (new backgrounds etc). For now cause off half screens still in blue I sadly can't use this mod yet.
BTW, Marry Christmas and the Happy New Year :)

I will have a full featured installer coming soon. You will be able to easily select your install options: inventory, start screen, buttons, etc. The installer will take care of the rest with a convenient uninstaller as well. One step at a time and this is only going to keep getting better. Remember were still in early BETA stages. If you think this mod is almost done that is simply not the case.

the installer will be a very welcome tool to ease the whole process and allow fast and safe changes ! Great News =)

Im impressed with what youve done, and Im tempted to use the UI.. However Im looking for something that that "light stone" effect similar to what you see in the original. Your UI reminds me more of BG2 (not that its necessarilly a bad thing).

    Good work though!

As you can see I've got a new username/handle. I had issues obtaining this username in the beginning but now its finally mine. Magevil = Archaic...

Feedback welcome - not the final version. Work in progress.

looks promising. Can you do something about the grayed page numbers to make them more fit to the general color theme ? (maybe a darker brown ?)

Nice picture too (not to sure about the icon you choose though) maybe the symbol of mystra ? (http://forgottenrealms.wikia.com/wiki/Mystra_(Midnight))

I like the overall feeling of your arcane spellbook, particularly the Mystra's Weave mosaic. Have I ever mentioned that I love mosaics? =P

The staff(?) icon's shininess is a bit out-of-place though. Perhaps it would look more immersive if the light matches the fire above it? Colour-wise I mean.

Also, I'd appreciate it if you'd change the colour of 'Memorized' to something more noticeable. Since my 27.5' monitor's upper half displays darker than the rest, it makes the word almost unreadable on my end.

The spell levels may look more appealing with Roman numbers to some. Though, this is purely a matter of taste. Your time could very well used at other things more effectively than this I imagine.

Do you plan to release alternatives for the arcane spellbook like you have with the Inventory? If so, may I suggest a bloody, leathery Necronomicon theme with bits of bone in it or the likes? A Shadow Weave theme of Shar might be interesting as well, particular for the illusionists amongst us.

Random question. In the small learned spells box, is it possible to put a scroll bar in there? Occasionally when testing a few things, I've learned more spells than are displayed and would love to scroll through them. Not sure if this is possible or not. probably not, but I thought where you were picking apart that section you'd know. :)

@neoespirt - the page number will come at a later time but yes I do plan to change them up to match color scheme. Thanks for the input - good idea with the Mystra Icon - however the colors just dont work. Not sure about the icon I will use yet.

@Kamigoroshi - The icon is going to go...I don't care for it either. I will make memorized more visible. I don't plan to release alternative options like the inventory screen for the mage book at this point. Thanks for the ideas - I will keep them in mind for sure.

@ShadowSmuggler - I'm going to implement a new vision for the mage book which will accommodate more space for the memorized and kwown spells. However, its hard coded to only display 24 'Known' spells per page.

I will be releasing a preview for a complete new design for the mage book that I think is much better than the previous preview later tonight.
