This is my favorite track so far from NWN2. It REALLY makes me feel nostalgia but I'm not sure what for. I only recently played NWN2 but the song reminds me of something from long, long ago. I just don't know what. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LRkm8EIk23s
@typo_tilly yeah, for many people regardless of if they play or not, they'll know the music. it is perhaps the most consistent part of the franchise. also, although I've never touched the Black Knight game if you are going to be sharing music from it I think you need the credits song
(seriously though, I like this song over Live and Learn. some big Sonic fans would hate me for that lol. guess it lacks the nostalgia for me who didn't keep up with the franchise for a long time)
@typo_tilly a classic tune I think we all know also, that would be the better version of Believe in Myself imo. if we're doing a bit of Sonic, I guess I got a few.
also stumbled upon another pretty cool version of the song while getting it. i suddenly may have a new 2nd favorite Sonic song that is just a different version.
and, just a little some different. Sonic Rush had some very different music from the rest of the series because the jet set radio composer worked on the game. the first is the Sonic-Blaze fight theme, often referred to as Blaze's own theme after it's remix in Black Knight for Percival's theme. the other is the final boss. yes, they put Malcolm x into a Sonic song.
I kind of just one day picked up Sonic Generations and got a lot of music through that, then youtube was also helpful at letting me catch up with Sonic tunes. Personally haven't listened to many of the remixes. The originals are already really good and I have a bunch to listen to from games I never played. There is a cover of Sonic Boom by Crush 40 (did most of the music from Adventure to Black Knight) and Cash Cash (Sonic Colors) that I had to look up just now, though.
so... just did some research on the vocals of that Endless Possabilities remix. surprisingly... it is the same person that did Snake Eater for Metal Gear!
(all this time later, realized she just performed Snake Eater a few times, but not the in game version. whoops.)
I'm surprised they got her for something small like this. The remix was just made for the trailer for the Unleashed mod for Generations, and they later wanted to add the vocals. It's awesome that some talent like that did this, because I really like the remix and I've always loved Snake Eater from the first time I heard that years ago! In fact, when Donna Burke remixed Snake Eater among other songs recently for MGS5, I still prefer Ingrid's version
Video game: Terraria or the original NES Metroid Classical: Glenn Gould playing the Well Tempered Clavier or Brahms' Gesang der Parzen Folk: An Ani DiFranco record called Puddle Dive
@kamigoroshi although we've already shared pretty much every big Undertale song, I am always happy to see these come up because it means more people are experiencing the game and it's amazing music
@typo_tilly after so many metal and mario paint composer remixes that is a nice change of pace. i am surprised we haven't gotten more from OC Remix yet. the game has the most memorable soundtrack in years! i simply can't remember many of the hundreds of orchestral tracks that are in every game nowadays.
Mario Paint remixes? XD Aw, that would wear off fast.
Well, some of the musicians at ocr love Undertale, so you can bet there'll be more! It's the strong melodies we're drawn to, I think. *-) Most game music nowadays is more for the background than the fore.
Sorry, it's not like that is all people do. They just seem very common in my youtube recommended
Metal seems to be easily the most popular. Of course the first half of the album I linked is metal with the rest being different styles. Kazoo also is very popular, as well as piano. Mario paint composer seems to have taken off a bit because dogsong indeed uses mario paint composer, so some people tried to recreate in it. Perhaps on of the most interesting ways people started remixing was trying to create temmie remixes of all sorts of songs, something spawning from Vinesauce Joel's Undertale playthrough. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SurVcC2CLog Other than that I find many of the other styles not very common, and I haven't really heard much like that OCR one.

Now, for the only good thing that came out of Sonic 06

Mixing this (pre-)apocalyptic mecha franchise together with powerful opera songs is a match made in heaven!
And Kotor
Undertale, anyone?
so here, how about some remixes instead? https://determination-ut.bandcamp.com/releases
