If you enjoy Final Fantasy III/Final Fantasy Tactics' class system, a great soundtrack, an adorable Faerie companion, and one of the suavest characters I've ever seen then you'll probs enjoy it. I only give warning the second half the game can be. . . infuriating.
Finally, I'm surprised nobody's mentioned Elite (the original from the late 80s), with Blue Danube as the soundtrack (or maybe they have...I don't know anymore!):

Sans showed me a bad time, but I beat him. Twice. I'm keeping my save file there so I can challenge myself over and over again. Such a fun fight.
Undyne's theme is also cool.
