2e Is too restrictive for me. (Why the heck only humans can be paladins?) 3e/Pathfinder for life.
Developer elitism, I guess. When Wizards of the Coast decide on racial stereotypes they really commit. Did you know halflings could ONLY be thieves in 1e?
But give 2e some credit, at least it didn't slap half-orcs with a stupid CHA penalty. And honestly 3e can be just as restrictive as 2e - it's just that they've swapped out openly restricting certain race/class combinations for making the ones they don't like really inconvenient.
The only thing I like about the 2e race restriction is that it indirectly gave us the wonder that is Mazzy.
Mazzy is a Fighter who tries to be a Paladin. I like that little waifu halfling asskicker.
bioware may have known before hand that 3rd ed was gonna have non human paladins. which is why mazzy talks about that happening afew times in the game.
@ZaramMaldovar
The 2.5 patch introduced a bug where your crew gets stacked and cant move anymore. I don't know if something like that belongs to the "Pathfinding" category, but its my closest guess.
Meme explained by Knowyourmeme: "Technologically Impaired Duck is an Advice Animal image macro series featuring a centered image of a white duck with overlaid text conveying technological ignorance or misunderstanding."

Lord Foreshadow is subtly referring to Neverwinter Nights the game in his dialogue in Baldur's Gate one. (He meets you on the road to Beregost with a forced conversation.) NWN was already in early development when BG was released. Originally, NWN was planned as a continuation of BG, and there was a loading screen tip in BG2 that promised you would be able to import your character into NWN to continue the adventure. Those early plans for NWN got changed somewhere along the way.
@semiticgod It's a new act passed here in Europe with articles deisigned to curb the uploading of copyrighted material to privately-owned sites. In reality it will probably not end well for anyone involved.
@HalfOrcBeastmaster
That may be the case but I don't know if EA actually owns any of the stuff on this website (or if ever did in the first place because Bioware was simply a developer and not the actual owners of the game) And until the people who actually run this website tell us that we have to stop doing this, this thread isn't going anywhere.
@HalfOrcBeastmaster: I doubt the new policy would forbid memes, since memes tend to revolve around simple images drawn from larger works, which aren't copyrighted on their own unless the EU has a much more expansive definition of copyright than the U.S., where using a simple screenshot for parody purposes would be considered well within the realm of "fair use."
At any rate, it's my understanding that the rules require private companies, not individuals, to regulate the content on their websites--the website owner is held accountable; ordinary users are not--and since Beamdog is a Canadian company, this website would not have to comply with any EU rulings.
So, you personally won't be restricted in your posts because the policy applies to website owners rather than users, and Beamdog won't be required to remove certain posts because it's not subject to EU jurisdiction.

Make it happen!
This one was seriously cool!
*whispers* I rarely have problems with the pathfinding.
What i think i am
What i really am
And here's two I posted a long time ago that I thought needed some love again.
Well, Death Knights/Demon Knights are often fallen paladins.
The theory is based off the fact that he's wearing a Helmet of Reverse Alignment.
Party members after you dump them in a shady tavern or somewhere in the middle of nowhere...
When you finally learned Fireball and can't wait to use it!
This is why 3e ditched dual classing in favor of multiclassing.
You got it backwards. 3E is just dual classing on steroids. Multiclassing died with 2e.

Its a shame this Meme is used so rarely.
The pathfinding isn't literally so bad that it's unplayable. But it's just bad enough (especially in Vanilla) that it warrants parody.
I'm not just bashing my favorite game series for no reason.
P.S. If your meme is sarcasm I apologize, I'm not good at picking up on that kind of stuff sometimes.

So yes, its a sarcastic hint to the bug in 2.5.
No post without a picture? Okay:
Hooray for meta commentary.

Sorry these memes did not come out in the order I wanted, but I'm too lazy to fix it.
