I feel like there's been a misunderstanding. Those memes are meant to celebrate Biff the Understudy, not make fun of him. I'm not sure how you mistook them for criticism.
This is an unrelated question, but it is true Biff was actually unemployed the BGII engine came out - with dialogues in BGII just ending if the dialogue partner is missing, Biff has lost his job, no?
I recall him saving my own mod in vanilla BG1 - when I used the wrong death variable/dlg combo for an Imoen interjection and there he was, jumping in for Imoen's lines. It was hilarious. I really wished I'd taken a screenshot!
I just checked and in BGII, he
has an appearance in Hear'Dalis' theatre group. He doesn't sound very omniscient there.

Oh, I see! I thought you were making fun of Biff being a "real" NPC. It's funny how perception of written words can lead to such misunderstandings. (And I didn't take it as personal criticism about my tutorial, I just wanted to be funny.)

I think that in BGII they just started making it impossible for you to kill NPCs that are neccesary to the plot. As far as NPCs that are neccesary to sidequests though? Welp, you're out of luck there.

i remember way back in the vanilla bg 1 days i would use the console commands to console in khalid or jaheira but i didnt console in both, so when i would console in jaheira biff the understudy came with her and he would join the team, being a level 1 fighter with all 9s, good stuff
and in vanilla bg1 i was actually able to get biff the understudy to summon without cheats, the area south of high hedge there is the undead cleric dude bassilus or whatever his name is, sometimes if you would fireball all the undead dudes and keep bassilus alive he would talk with a biff the understudy if the zombie was dead, it was great to see
Seriously, somebody needs to make a legit meme of Sarevok sitting on the Iron Throne. That'd be pretty badass. I don't have that kind of photo making knowledge.
Baldur's Gate has pretty complex game mechanics when you delve deeper into it. Eventually, though, it can get kind of excessive.
I didn't have room to mention it, but that last one will only work if you use the Wand of Lightning on multiple different targets, so the Cloudkill hits will trigger on different frames.

well with out him we would not have aerie so he did one good thing
